"Daniel came out and replaced the seal on the bottom of our garage door which mice had chewed through. Our door was 20+ years old so I expected the track that the seal went into to be outdated and it was, I couldn't even find it on Youtube, so a new track was required for the new seal to fit into. Parts and labor for this 8' metal track was only $50 in addition to the quote for the actual seal. I priced this out beforehand with competitors and I must say the pricing for everything with 1A was the lowest and very fair. I will definitely call 1A when needed again. "My garage door was behaving erratically when I attempted to close it -- to the point where I had to manually assist' in the closing of the door.  Obviously, I needed to have it serviced.  I went to my 'go-to' site for a referral and discovered ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS on Angie's List.  The technician, David, arrived shortly after the scheduled time and proceeded to inspect the door.  He swapped out the door rollers and even added addtitional brackets to better support the door rails. Before he left, he did additional little things to ensure a quieter garage door operation, as well as giving me tips on future maintenance.  Overall, a dream experience!  My garage door now works like it did on it's initial installation some 10 years ago.  Thanks David and thanks ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS !!

Arno listened in detail to our wishes, make recommendations and came up with a great design for a large entertainment center covering a 17 ft wall in our family room that reflected our ideas. He was also very helpful in selecting the right wood, stain color and door styles to fit the look we were going for. His cabinets automatically come with soft close etc., so there is no upselling from the quoted price. The installation, which he did with one employee, was smooth and swift. Arno was the 5th company we had asked to quote the project and we immediately liked him much better than the other contractors (much friendlier and better at listening to our wishes), so we were really excited when he also quoted us the best price!! "Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."
