Called several companies (I open the system myself) who said it was probably a defective valve or leaking manifold causing the issue. I asked for a ball park number which ranged from $200 to $325 "depending on what would have to be replaced". I called Quality Irrigation who took the time to ask specific questions on the phone. He came up with the same diagnosis but said with any luck it may be repairable without taking apart the manifold. He came out the next day, literally took the valve apart to find that a stainless steel nut was stuck in the diaphragm causing the value to slow leak and flood the yard. He reassembled the valve, boot up the system and it worked like a charm. He charged me just for his time, $85. I now have a new sprinkler service company! Thank you..."

Other companies were charging twice as much and wanted to use a crane to remove one of the large 100' Red Oak Tree's we had in the front. Mike determined it was rotting from the inside out and within 3 days, had two trees and about 10 bushes removed. He came back on Saturday to verify we were happy with all services rendered. description of the work.  Work was scheduled to start 3 weeks from
signing contract.  I wasn't home to observe the whole time, but was told
their crew starts up at top of tree and prune dead branches from top
unlike some companies that cut just from the bottom and not do the tough
work higher up.  Clean up was fine but not perfect, there were still
some leaves and twigs on the lawn.  Final price was ok with Angie's List
