"Went to store front on saturday to look at sample railings. Staff was very helpful. Gave me some catalogues to take home and an appointment for Tuesday for an estimate. On Tuesday Jeff called and said he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come an hour earlier. Came and showed us some examples and discussed how certain railings would look and what our steps could "handle". Made our selection and got an install date for 2 weeks later. At 9am on 11/12 Alex and his associate showed up and got to work. The two men were professional and meticulous about what they were doing. It seeemed as thought they were installing the railings on their own home. When they were done they cleaned the area so it looked like the railings were always there. The finished work is perfect and we are thrilled that we chose Fence Depot.

"After interviewing 3 contractors I choose iPaint and Contact Inc. for the finishing of the cement floors in my entertainment room. iPaint and Nick were the most knowledgeable and professional of all the companies I interviewed. The materials they used were of the highest quality available; not the ?handyman? epoxy floor coatings sold in Home Depot that the other contractors wanted to use. There were also many colors and multicolor flake systems available to choose from. The epoxy used was essentially odorless and dried quickly. We are so happy with the finished job, it looks beautiful.
They took care to prepare the cement properly as to provide the best possible finished product. "I first contacted Raj when I needed a metal gate in my Harlem coop s building cut open at the last minute so that kitchen cabinets, that were too big to pass through the opening, could be brought up the stairs. Those huge pieces were sitting in the lobby, thus time was of the essence. Raj replied right away and stopped by to assess the situation after a full day working on another project. Not only was he able to do what was needed quickly and for a reasonable price, but he also suggested a different, more flexible way of welding the gate back together afterward, to allow for large items to be brought through it in the future. He then noticed that the gate itself was completely loose where it was attached to the wall. Had it given way when someone was trying to open or close it, the heavy gate might have knocked that person down the stairs, causing bodily harm. Thank goodness he was so conscientious! Since that job, our coop has hired Raj for a few other, minor welding projects, all of which he did with skill and professionalism. It is rare to find a contractor with experience who is willing to do smaller projects. His work is excellent and he comes up with creative solutions to handle the tasks at hand. We would hire Raj again, without hesitation."

"Overall, I am very happy with the work. They actually completed it about 9 months ago, but I wanted to wait to see if any problems developed before fully commenting and I am happy to say all is well. Paragon was pretty prompt in following up on my initial inquiry with a detailed review of the work I wanted done and estimate that I could easily compare to others and note similarities and differences. In the end, the estimate was within 5% or so of the actuals even when unexpected situations arose once the walls were opened. The crew arrived early on most days and worked diligently. There was no "drama" with workers not showing up, not getting along or not doing what they were supposed to do. The only complication that weighed down my assessment was that within the first week of the work starting, the project manager left due to medical reasons. While this could not be avoided, this meant that there was no project manager on my job to keep me apprised of the plans for the week, etc. Tom, the owner, stepped in and personally managed the job for the duration. While I think he did an admirable job, I'm sure that this was difficult to manage with everything else. As we got to parts of the project where work was done but had to wait for inspections, the value of having a dedicated project manager was apparent. There were days that the guys were not scheduled to come and I didn't know that until about 9 am when no one was here, and I called the office. Or maybe they only needed to come for a few hours vs the whole day, and I was not informed in advance. Having said all this, I think overall things went well and I have received many compliments. Everything was done in about 2 1/2-3 months and I was never without a working toilet and shower. I would use them again for similar work."
