"I called on a Friday about a clogged toilet which we have had issues that seemed never ending from one toilet to next in both men and women’s stalls at our bar. Someone was out to us within a few hours and was able to find the issue with not only the one toilet, but what had been causing the ongoing problem for us, within an hour. The guy Nick that came out, explained it to us in a professional but simple way for us to understand and showed up prepared to work on spot!! I would love to say I’ll be calling them again, but the way our toilets are working, I’m not sure I’ll need to be calling again anytime soon😊 unless someone really does a number on one of the toilets! Highly recommended, great communication and the time efficiency blew me away, I have a hard time these days getting people to show up just for estimates on projects within a week let alone showing up day of call ready to work! "

"I used this company once before. It was satisfactory so I decided to use them again. Yesterday, at 6:15am, I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing regarding an emergency broken pipe in my front yard. The dispatcher told me they would send someone out as an urgent call. Then she informed me it could be between 8am and 12pm. I again informed her that the emergency was that water could possibly come into my home. She told me yes; she would mark the call as urgent. I then called Polk County utilities to shut off my water. They arrived at 8:20am and was able to turn off the water. I was patiently waiting for Benjamin Franklin to arrive and at 11:30am I received a call saying that now no one could be here till 3PM. I then said I would go to a Dr. Appointment I had and would be back before the 3PM appointment. At 3:30pm, I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing, and they now told me I would have to wait till 6pm. I said to the dispatcher I been waiting just about 12 hour I cancelled the call."

This was the worst experience I have had with an Angie’s List contractor. I am very disappointed with Guerra Services and disappointed with Angie’s List as well for listing Guerra Services as a preferred vendor. "The salesman Dennis, don’t believe him, you will never see him again. He said they wouldn’t start a second job until ours was finished, either he or his partner would be there every day, and how they wouldn’t leave until we were satisfied with everything. None of those things happened. The job was scheduled to go for 10 days. The three-person crew that started were great. Then Tim started pushing us to remodel the kitchen, or our second bathroom. I told him no. That is when everything changed. The next day we had a one man crew. Everything turned into an argument. Tim refused to install baseboards in the bathroom, even though they had removed them, or rebuilt the walls. Tim said it wasn't in the contract so he wasn't doing it unless I paid more. I will admit that baseboards are not mentioned in the contract. Neither is caulking, drywall texture, or painting. All of which they did without question."
