"After investigation, we discovered that having a poured cement cap was far superior to a mortar or sandstone cap. Best Chimney fully agreed and replaced our cap with a poured, cement cap at a very reasonable cost. They also replaced about 70 bricks. After an acid wash they matched almost perfectly. Additionally, at no extra cost, they tuck pointed and sealed the inside "fire box". The whole job, including clean up, surpassed our expectations. "Excellent experience! Home Care is a very professional business and our concerns were handled courteously and promptly. An appointment for a thorough inspection of the exterior and interior of the chimney was arranged shortly after our first call. The compromised part of the chimney was protected with a tarpaulin which was attached so securely that it remained in place during this winter's high winds. Mr. Atchley met with us to discuss the problems. He presented options, listened to our preferences, and made additional recommendations. We received a detailed estimate shortly afterwards. The work was started on schedule and the work crew arrived on time each day, so we never had to wait for their arrival. The crew cleaned up each day, respecting our home and property through the removal of our old chimney and fireplace and installation of the new materials. We were kept informed during the process so we were always aware of the progress of the work and what would be done the next day. Our rebuilt chimney is of superior craftsmanship to the original. "Craig was very professional from start to finish.  We have a gas fireplace that we haven't used since we purchased our home almost 5 years ago.  We called Craig and made an appointment to come give us and estimate.  He not only gave us an estimate but he gave us a lot of good suggestions on how to make the fireplace look good.  So agreed to have him do the work.  Craig came back after 2 weeks and did the following work.  <br /> 1. He painted the inside of our fireplace black so when the new fireplace doors are installed it will look like a tv screen and it <br />      made  it look darker and nicer. <br /> 2. He removed some of our ceramic logs and replaced them with better ones he had at his shop at no charge.  <br /> 3. He cleaned all the junk stuff that had fallen into our fireplace. <br /> 4. He added new pebbles/fireplace dirt <br /> 5. He rearranged everything that made the fireplace flame look bigger and brighter. <br /> 6. He purchased a door for us that we selected from the brochures he should us at the time he did the estimate.  He installed the <br />     door and showed us how to use it. <br /> 7. "EXCELLENT! Prompt scheduling. Dustin and co-worker called to see if they could come early which worked out great for me. They laid out drop cloth so as to not soil my new carpet. They got my fireplace working and instucted me in its use. They were kind enough to answer ALL of my questions. I even got a quote to install two gas lines for a dryer and stove and it was half the price of the another quote from a different provider. Great service at a great price!"
