"When TED first proposed the Job he went thru a verbal description explaining the work that needed to be done and I was impressed with his knowledge and insights. We did not haggle on price in that I had other estimates and wanted to give Ted the incentive to do the job right and in a timely manner. He met all those goals. "In June of this year we needed to have our 9 year old house painted, along with replacing some weather damaged trim around our windows. We hired a painting contractor who claimed to know what he was doing. Instead of replacing the trim he tried to caulk, fill, and cover up the old rotten boards. He watered down the paint and then proceeded to use one very thick coat instead of the two coats he promised. He ended up destroying our soffit and siding.
