"We recently purchased a new hot tub and asked Waibel to come out and give us a quote on the price of the work. We would need a new 50 amp line run from our panel in the basement to our outside patio on the opposite side of the house. Chuck was quick to come out that same week and take a look at our situation. He explained the work that would be involved and gave us a quote. We had another electrician come out and give a quote and theirs was $800 higher than Waibel’s–so we hired Waibel. The ice storm that came through in February prevented Waibel from completing the job on the initial day they said they would come out, but Chuck was able to reschedule me for less than a week later. "Started off through messaging via Angie's List and received a call from their call center / customer support - set up a callback to get a quote via phone. The next phone call I received was from Mike (Manager) whom listened to the request for a quote and provided a high overview on the following steps needed for the 200 amp panel box replacement - including potential timeframe for completion. After a quick site visit, Mike took care of setting up the remainder including the permit. A couple days later Scott (Technician) arrived and within 3 hours completed the job - replacing the box, clean-up, and ensuring all connections were up/running. So I started over searching for an electrician on Angi's List to do the job. Jeremy from J's Electrical/Maintenance responded quickly and provided an estimate with pictures I texted him. We scheduled an appointment for within the week (Sunday, his choice) and he got the job done. It rained off and on that day but most of the outside work was completed between showers. "Craig Desrosiers with Safe Electric did fantastic work for me right before Christmas. I liked how he arrived on the dot on time. I was so pleased with his work in fact, that I hired Craig a second time today, 12/27 for an additional several hours to install more Lutron Caseta radio dimmer switches for our home and landscape lighting control, which I love. He also installed new duplex outlets that were expertly cut and fished with no holes for me to patch and paint -what a relief and huge convenience to me. This was a very challenging job, especially since they were undoing improperly completed work previously done by a less experienced and unreliable electrician that I foolishly hired as side work (don't ever do that like I did a month ago, because you do NOT get what you think you paid for). Spend the money, hire a recommended licensed, experienced, and honest electrician. He tirelessly trouble shot and traced extensive track lighting fixtures throughout our mid century modern home. It helped to have all items purchased and ready for him to install. The few things I didn't have, he easily had ready to install from his work van. He was definitely prepared. Craig didn't cut any corners, he charged me a fair hourly rate, and most important: everything was done this time perfectly and safely. I feel strongly that when resale time should ever come around in the future years from now, I won't have any further issues or questions from a buyer's pesky home inspector, thanks to his job done right. 'Wish I'd called him first! I now have his cell number saved in my phone, and will gladly pass it on to anyone who asks me in passing if I know of a good electrician I can recommend. Call Craig first! He's the Lutron master pro, and he's been a licensed electrician for over 30 years...and his experience and professionalism shines bright and safe in my home, that's for sure."
