"Feb 13: I had been told they would start on Feb 14, but heard nothing from them, so I emailed them.  They replied that their project manager had been in an accident and they would not be able to start then.
Feb 15: They told me the project manager would be back on Monday and they would contact me then to talk about material selection.
Wednesday, Feb 20: Hadn't heard from them so emailed again.  More apologies and promises.
March 5:  Never got a choice of tiles.  Some tiles just showed up.  A closet door needed to be reframed , but it was done wrong, so I told them to redo it.  Finally, they sent down an apprentice to put in the tile around the shower, and he completely botched the job, so it needed to be ripped out and redone.  In the process of putting up the tile he chipped the ceramic in the tub, which also needed to be repaired.  It took a week to tear out the bad tile and two more weeks to schedule somebody in to fix the tub, so no further progress occurred.
By April 4, the tub was fixed and the tile was done.  April 7 saw the plumbing finished.  We are waiting for the closet door to come in, a door that should have been ordered when the door was framed (remember, it had to be reframed once).

Maybe if we were closer to Manchester they would have done better.  Was told the project would take 7-10 days, actually took 10 weeks.
