He arrived when he said he would, and made short work of the job. This, despite that my dishwasher was firmly lodged under the counter, and didn't want to budge. "I have Rescue Link's Single PC Pack which is an extended warranty for my laptop and also has unlimited tech support.  I use the tech support every month to run a PC tune up and it doesn't cost me any sort of fee or deductible beyond what my monthly charge is.  My laptop is three years old and I purchased this warranty earlier this year.  I recently spilled a soda on my laptop and called to file a claim.  This warranty covers accidental damage for laptops and tablets so I was able to call to file a claim.  They answered the phone and asked a few questions like: what is the serial number of the laptop, what operating system do you use and about how much did you pay for the laptop.  After answering these questions, they told me that my claim was approved and that I would receive a postage paid box within two business days.  I received the box with the materials required to safely ship my laptop.  It was actually kind of funny because they even provided a premeasured length of tape to close the box.  I filled out the paper asking for my password (so that they can get into the computer to make sure that the repairs were completed) and took the box to the UPS drop off site.  Two days later I got a call stating that they received the box and would start repairs.  Three days after that, they called me and told me that they had everything except the keyboard fixed and were just waiting on the new keyboard.  Two days later, I was told that they had the keyboard and would be shipping me my repaired computer and I should receive it in two to three business days.  All said, it only took seven days from the time that they received my computer for me to get it back.  They even cleaned it.  I am very happy with this service. <br />"

"It only took days for the issue to come back. It did work more quickly in the store when they turned it on there. I just don't think they set me up for upcoming issues; they just temporarily fixed something and didn't prepare the computer to handle whatever it was that caused the slowness in the first place.  <br /> I have purchased two computers from Best Buy. I have a love/hate relationship with them because, at times, they are cold and don't seem to be "in the moment" when working with you as a customer. They have their earpiece going off, they are looking around while working with you, and they sometimes seem "programmed" to say certain things or sell certain products.  <br /> As for the Geek Squad, I had one come to my house, and they were great. But when I wait in line at the store and then wait in line again to pick the item up, I - again - feel like they have something more important to do rather than help a customer. Part of me thinks they are understaffed in those areas (computer sales and Geek Squad). Sometimes I think that it must be hard to find workers who are  both computer-savvy and have a pleasant personality.  <br /> I have learned to do my homework before going there = doing the research on computers and even calling to see when their "slow times" are at the store. It's wonderfully located with great parking and decent layout. <br />"

"Our first encounter with Spectrum Energy was in March of this year. Ben serviced one of our two boilers, which we knew hadn't been done in several years. He replaced the oil filters on the tank and boiler and thoroughly cleaned the inside of the combustion chamber, which had been neglected by the previous owners/servicemen. He was kind enough to show me the before and after as I was curious about the condition of our boiler. What a difference!!! It was like night and day. He even took time to suggest different ways to improve efficiency on older boilers (e.g. heat manager, etc.). I am confident the service we received was far beyond what we could expect from the local oil company. <br /> <br /> In August, we had Spectrum Energy come back to service our second boiler. Once again, our boiler was thoroughly cleaned! Also, the stove pipe leading from the boiler to the chimney had apparently rusted through and nobody had bothered to catch this in prior servicings. So, that was replaced. Also, since March, Ben purchased some high-end calibration equipment. In the end, he took our 78% efficient boiler up to 87%, which is great considering it's age. The efficiency sat in the 70's for quite a few years. I'm looking forward to seeing an improvement in our heating expenses this winter."

"Burlington Refrigeration was excellent. He determined that my refrigerator couldn't be repaired, so he didn't want to charge me anything. But I thought that wasn't fair and I payed him for his time. He was very personable. He came immediately. He was very prompt. He responded to me quickly and got to me quickly and was prompt and professional in diagnosing the problem. He didn't waste my time or his own. He was extremely honest. He had his computer with him so he could hitch up to the manufacturer's website to get specific details about that particular model. I thought that was very good. His decisions were well founded and well researched, right there on the spot. I think that's kind of unusual for a repairman. He's not just relying on his just his own experience. I felt very reassured."
