"Floors Sag or Shake was one of three estimates we got to reinforce the sagging floors in four rooms of our older home. We went with them based on the work they proposed and their positive online reviews, and we are completely satisfied with their work. They worked over three days to pour concrete footings, jack up the floors as best as possible, and then add permanent supports. They also removed an old vapor barrier and installed a new one. Each day, they arrived early and worked through the day. They communicated well and were courteous and professional. Prior to their work, our floors were not even close to level. More importantly, when walking on them, we could feel them "giving" under our weight. Now, our floors feel solid and look level throughout the house. While this type of work isn't as "fun" as other renovations, the cost of this repair is worth the peace of mind. Every time we walk across our floors, we are reminded of our investment. I already purchased the flooring, a vinyl plank. Put down the moisture barrier that we purchased. He installed it, perfectly. He put together three dressers and a nightstand and painted the room the color I picked out. Not a drop of paint on the floor Recommended PVC trim on the baseboard and painted it a semi-gloss white, at their suggestion. I am sharing this because my husband is disabled and the old bedroom needed a major makeover. H.E. Douglas Flooring, Painting & Tile was completely professional. through & thoughtful. My husband will come home from the hospital to a beautiful, calm hospital room where he has space to move around with clean design lines and heal. P.S.
