Get matched with top central a/c installers in Hinsdale, IL

"Installation went well. I chose by "YELP" referrals . I feel I over paid out of sheer desperation. A/C was shot . The salesman was a bit cocky, arrogant. I needed it & I got it fast. Salesman claims of an $ 1800. rebate were B.S.. I was apparently taken off the final price. Very SLY !!! Still they are highly recommended.on YELP................................... P.S. Installer was a Pro . Thus I feel secure in that area."

"Installers arrived early and were very efficient. Pleased with the work completed."

"I would like to preface my statement by saying this company was recommended to me by my family member who has used this company regularly and has not yet had their AC unit replaced - their unit is 21 years old. I was having problems with my upstairs AC unit not cooling properly and called out to American Family for the first time with a service call thinking that the unit may only need repair (maybe needing freon or a leak as the blower motor seemed to still be working, just no cool air). It turned out to be the compressor. I elected not to replace the units compressor due to the age of the unit itself. The company rep suggested that we also replace the heating unit upstairs due to its age and noting the complications we were having at the end of the winter season (he did check it as well). He stated it would be cheaper to do both than one at a time, but also stated it was completely my choice. Knowing about this company from other relatives they do try to repair and/or resolve your HVAC issues first. However, my AC was beyond a reasonable repair. I asked for a bid without the heating unit and with the AC and heating. The quotes were individually fair and I elected to do the later (with heat and AC). They scheduled immediately with owner Tim. They were able to install the next day, but I elected 2 days later. I only paid for the service call at this point and they accepted my coupon. The service guys arrived timely. It was an extremely hot day (roughly 99 degrees), but the workers stayed all day installing both units until everything was satisfactory. They were pleasant and explained everything in detail. They cleaned up after themselves, taking the old units. There was very little residual left behind and considering they worked so long and it was so hot they were respectful and completed the job as stated. A part was missing during install, but it was immediately resolved as it was brought by someone else from the company, in turn, leaving them to continue working rather than leaving and coming back. I was very pleased overall and will use them again."

"Everything went well! Tune up performed on central air unit. Jamarr was really nice, professional, and very knowledgeable."

"I'm very happy with project manager Rich Davis' expert and very helpful advice. The installation was an all day job. This is to be expected. Miguel, Jose, and Francisco are expert Carrier installers. They did a terrific job. They answered all my questions and explained things to my satisfaction and cleaned up, too. If you want your project done right with quality in mind, call Shavitz."

"Very well. The technician seemed well trained. He went through all vents and registers meticulously. Cleaned the furnace base unit thoroughly. Showed all the filters which needed to be cleaned, dried and re-installed."

"My furnace was installed by someone else that did a very poor job. I could not replace the filter without smashing it and smashing the new one to put in. Ridiculous! I had All Temp come out and they were able to do a quick fix so I didn't have to struggle with it anymore. He was on time, pleasant. He even put up with my dog wanting to say hello to him, Definitely would hire again!"

"We purchased a new home a few months ago, and a lot of things needed to be replaced. On the top of the list for us was the furnace and A/C. We called probably 6-7 different companies to come out and give us estimates, but we were never really thrilled with any of those companies, especially after reading reviews. Skip forward a few weeks, and a check valve on our sump pump went out, so water sprayed all over the closet where the sump pump was kept, on a Saturday. Steve made it out in probably 45 minutes or so, if that, and did a fix. The pump itself was old, and the battery backup was not functional, so I decided to have the whole thing replaced. A few days later, the job was done. I was impressed by Steve, and saw that they did HVAC work, so I decided to have them do an estimate on a new A/C and Furnace. Later the same day, the owner of the company came out and gave us an estimate. There was no pressure whatsoever to make a purchase, the conversation was just matter of fact about what we needed and what we didn't need. We live in a town that technically requires permits to do work like this, but every provider up until TopTec said that we could get away without doing the permits, so why pay the money. TopTec encouraged us to do the permits so we'd have a third party review their work to ensure it was done right for our own peace of mind. This really told me that not only they were confident in their work, but also that what was going to be done would be up to code. I had been toying with getting a new hot water heater based on how old ours was, so we decided to have them do that too. The workers were thoughtful and explained everything in detail. They don't subcontract. If you are looking for the absolute cheapest provider, these guys probably aren't for you. But, if you want the job done right, thoroughly, and with high end products, this guys are the route you want to go. It's so hard to find providers you can trust, but I really feel like they earn the high review scores they got if you do your research. I'll definitely have more work for them in the future."

"I had a great experience with their HVAC services. They repaired my electrical baseboard heater quickly and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. The team was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. They also installed our new central A/C system smoothly with no issues at all. Communication was clear throughout the process, and the pricing was fair. Highly satisfied with the quality of work and customer service. I would definitely recommend them for any heating or cooling needs."

"Jim and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I am immensely pleased with the newer smaller and more efficient boiler they installed in my home."
