Plus we were impressed with their showroom and how Elena and Maria worked with us on pricing, answered our questions, and continued to communicate with us. Prior to our decision Juan Jr. and his Uncle arrived onsite and went over the installation. Juan Jr. also answered our questions and encouraged us to contact him directly if we had further concerns or questions. One of our major concerns was the electricity to operate the motors for the shutters. Juan Jr. took the time to explain how and where they would get the electric and that we would not experience any collateral issues but if something should occur then they would resolve it. They called the day before to confirm our installation and the team arrived on time. They worked through the day and finished the job the same day as promised. They took the additional time to guarantee all testing was complete and that all of the shutters operated, plus ensured that we were completely satisfied and happy with the product and their installation. We have never experienced storm or hurricane damage in the 35 years we have lived in our home but it was time we mitigated the risk. These shutters also function as security for our home when we are away on a trip. They are managed either individually from a local remote control or can be managed remotely via a mobile application from a smartphone. Rolltex is a family business that knows how to treat their customers. They work hard to make certain their customers are satisfied and happy with the product and their service. "I engaged CFP Remodeling & Construction (out of Pearland) for landscaping services at my East End property, which included installing approximately 165 sq feet of St. Augustine sod. Shortly after installation, I observed that a significant portion of the sod was not healthy. I reached out to Jessenya Akerman at CFP Remodeling & Construction, who indicated they would inspect the issue. Despite several delays, Ms. Akerman suggested that increased watering might resolve the problem. After spending $90 on additional watering, the sod remained in poor condition. I contacted Ms. Akerman again; although assurances were made about revisiting, no follow-up occurred. Eventually, I received an email explaining that personal circumstances had caused the delays and promising efforts to rectify the situation. However, subsequent correspondence stated that the company considered the installation complete and did not plan further action. Based on my experience, I found communication inconsistent, scheduling unstructured, and customer service lacking in follow-through. Therefore, I am unable to recommend CFP Remodeling & Construction and would advise considering other reputable landscaping providers on the island for your home improvement needs."
