"Mario came down as scheduled and investigated the issue and diagnosed the compressor was failing. He advised us to try and claim warranty with GE but otherwise look at a new refrigerator. He could have replaced the compressor for $800. but since that was over half way to a new unit he recommended buying something new. While the sting of losing my investment in a 2 year old refrigerator hurts I am very thankful that there are still honest repairmen out there that can shoot straight with you even if it isn't in there own economic interest.
