"Needing fence work done I turn to Angi to locate a contractor that could provide the service needed. Mustang fencing company was recommended and called me about 20 minutes after speaking with Angi to schedule an appointment. The appointment was scheduled for May 27, 2025. On May 27, 2025 a technician (Micheal) came to give an estimate for my fence. The estimate was for $850 which I believe was high for the work needed. I accepted the offer after the tech (Micheal) reinsured me that Mustang fencing is a reputable company and provides good work. I paid a $340 deposit to get the work started that same day. A team of 3 workers came out on May 30, 2025 to replace my entry gate. Some reinforcement was needing to be attached to my existing metal support poles which they use wood and nails to do so. They did a good job reinforcing the fence but a sloppy job using the metal nails that tips stick out through the wood. Nearing completion of the job I notice a large gap where the gates meet to close. I then told the workers that the gap was too large, didn’t provide privacy and the gate could be open from the outside. The worker then cut a full picket in half to cover the gap but this picket was not place on the outside like the rest of the pickets it was attached inside the gate. After the workers were done I paid the remaining of $510. On June 4, 2025 I called Mustang fencing and left a voicemail message to inform them of some concerns regarding gate. I never received a call back. On June 17, 2025 I called again and spoke with Val with Mustang Fencing regarding the non working gate lifters and pickets over lapping at the top of the gates. I provided pictures to Ms. Val and she confirmed there is a problem after reviewing the pictures. She told me that she will have a crew come back out when their schedule allowed. It has been 9 days and I still have not heard anything back from Mustang fencing."

We chose Texas Fence because we could charge it, times are tight for all and $3800 isn't just lying around. The only negative I can give in regards to Texas Fence is the lack of follow-up and communication after you agree to have them perform the work. We had to reach out to get an ETA and even then it took a few times to receive an answer. Communication is a lost art! Once we were scheduled the gentlemen that built our fence, Francisco and Adam, I highly recommend them. They cleaned up after themselves, communicated with me, and were courteous. They pay attention to detail and treat you as a person and not a job. I can not say enough about them :)"
