"Came out to get rid of a squirrel. He did apparently remove a squirrel, but not the one we called about because it was stuck too far down. We were told our chimney was too rusted to use, and a temporary cap was placed on the chimney. According to a second opinion our chimney is in working order, and we had the cap replaced with a working one. I'm not sure what that was about but I do really appreciate the promptness with which Chimney keeper was willing to come out and handle our squirrel problem. Not exactly worth $300 though."

Kayco time and time again kept impressing him with their ability to put up a new roof the right way. Kayco almost put a new roof on our house in one day but ran out of sunlight. We don’t have a big house ,but it was still impressive to watch. They clean up very well ,and they don’t leave that dumpster in front of your house for days after the roof is completed. He saw this with several roofing companies ,but not Kayco the dumpster was gone the day they finished. "I called the office and an appointment was made for the next day. Dave and Dale called the house about 15 minutes before they arrived. One man cleaned the dryer vent and the other the chimney. They were both very courteous, professional, and confident in their work. They were informative and explained what they were doing and also helped us interpret the level of build-up that was present. Upon completion, they thoroughly vacuumed the work site and left everything spotless. "They were from Clay County and wanted to charge me for a Duval County construction license that would allow them to do work in Duval County; they wanted me to pay for that and I did not. Their quote seemed kind of high; especially since they added in the charge for the Duval County license. There was nothing outstanding, either good or bad, about the people who gave me the quote."

"<p>When we wanted guttering installed 3 years ago, we did extensive research and discovered that all, or most, of the listed installers bought their guttering from this company. So, best to go to the source. We also discovered that for S. Florida you need the jumbo sized gutters, as anything smaller can't handle the storms we get here. Most of the other installers did not carry the largest size, as I understand that they would need special equipment to handle and cut the lengths.</p> <p>Rutland passed us over to their sister company, Premier Guttering (Pompano Beach) to make a quote and do the job. The initial job was around $1,050 3 years ago and the add on bit this past April was $350.</p> <p>At the appointed time, their truck showed up with large rolls of flat aluminum. Their machine rolled and shaped the required lengths.</p> <p>They did an excellent job installing the big guttering and despite all the heavy rain we have seen here, there has never been an overflow or leak. I do believe this is the best guttering you can get in S. Florida. When we had the add on, we were expecting them to cut an existing section and tap the new part in, but they insisted on replacing the original length, so there would be no joints.</p> <p>If you have a house down here and need new guttering - get the proper sized gutters!</p> <p>Just to be clear, I understand that Rutland makes the aluminum rolls and Premier is their local sister company in S.
