"Everything went well. No issues. Vinnie who came the first day for the cleaning was great. It was recommended "several years ago" due to some minor tile damage that we get a liner installed but we never did. So this time around we decided to get one. No sales pressure at all or any other comments pressuring us to get one, but I felt it was time. Vinnie also came by with another worker to install the liner, took about 2.5 hours. Overall, a very positive experience. I did rate the price a "B" because I though it was a bit high but maybe that is the going rate. I did not shop around since there are only so many chimney companies out there and we had used Master Chimney Sweepers in the past. $558 for cleaning and $3240 for liner."

"Fred's Chimney Magic came to our home after we purchased it. We have an old house and the original chimney everything needed to be repaired...the chimney was falling apart. We needed a new liner and mason work. The head technician was so knowledgeable. They gave us a very fair price to put in a new liner, chimney cap and repair the falling brick. "These guys did an outstanding job.  Prompt, professional, honest, friendly, kept a neat work site, beautiful work and had an excellent price.  My house was built in 1906 and the old chimney above the roofline was in pretty rough shape - ready to come down.  I had four different companies that I found on Angies List come over and give estimates.  Rich was the first person to come for an estimate and ultimately the one I chose.  His estimate was lower than the competition and gave a good first impression.  They came over a couple weeks later to do the rebuild and I couldn't be more pleased.  They were here for two days, always here when they said they would be and immediately set-up staging to demolish the old chimney.  The new chimney is beautiful - they used nice looking bricks and installed a nice cap.  It's a brand new chimney, but it looks like it's always been here.  I would highly recommend these guys.

"Excellent communication! Perhaps the best I’ve seen from a contractor. While waiting to get installation done, they checked in with me on dates and always called me back if I had questions. The took a look at the roof and suggested fixing the chimney first . We had that capped and some bricks replaced with a contractor they referred. The following week they came and did the roof and leaf gutters in 1 day. They cleaned up very well afterward. When I saw a lose shingle in the yard this spring, I called them and they sent someone out to look right away (it was just an extra shingle). The were great to work with and I would not hesitate to hire them again."

"My oil burner had built up soot and smoked, so besides having our oil company out to service our burner we needed a chimney sweep to clean the flue. The owner answered call right away. Price was less than competitors. Service person was on time and polite. Honest - he checked all 3 flues in chimney, and said that only 1 needed to be cleaned. I showed him where some soot had escaped vent which ran from the burner to the chimney and he adjusted the vent joint to close opening, and riveted and caulked it for no extra charge. Would definitely use them again."
