"I initially called for an irrigation estimate. Pedro/Peter was on time for our first appointment and was professional, polite, and pleasant. While discussing what I needed for the irrigation project, he noticed an overly wet spot in the lawn. He correctly identified the problem as a leak in the main line and, although he said it was probably going to be on my side and my responsibility to repair rather DWP's, he advised me to first contact them anyway to confirm before paying him to start working on it. That engendered a feeling of trust that he wasn't trying to rip me off. Plus I immediately knew he was correct because my tenant had complained of unusually high water bills. He and his brother Frank came the next day and fixed the problem at a very reasonable fee. They worked efficiently and quickly and cleaned up nicely afterwards. They installed my irrigation system satisfactorily and planted plants for me that I purchased from a great nursery recommended by Peter. Also, I had wanted sod but Peter advised me to just aerate the existing lawn (which was very beaten up by the previous tenant), fertilize and reseed in order to stay within my budget. Turns out he was right and my lawn has greened up nicely. Peter and Frank are just plain nice guys and good human beings as well as reliable and trustworthy. I am still an ongoing customer as they now take care of my lawn on their gardening route. I would highly recommend them to anyone."

"Ray Reyes, R&R Landscape Inc is the BEST POOL AND LANDSCAPE CONTRACTOR that I have ever worked with in the 30+ years I have been in the building industry. I am an Interior Designer and have worked with hundreds of interior and exterior subcontractors over the years, and am thrilled to have found Ray Reyes. I went to Angies List to get 3 contractor bids on a backyard renovation that I was a project manager on. Ray came out to meet with me and we discussed the project, he had great ideas that would be cost effective but give "a lot of look". Ray worked with me on the final price and the job was let to him for $39,500. He started the job on July 9th. During the process or removing an old wood deck, Ray suggested that we add in a 3'x60" retaining wall to be able to extend the area behind the pool to 10" deep. This made a lot of sense and enabled us extend the pavers out to use this area more efficiently. We had some added work that we wanted including the block wall, more sprinklers, plantings etc and the total job came to $50,000. Ray's communication with me throughout the job was excellent. He called me at least every other day to update me on the job progress and what was going to be done next. He always answered my calls to him and if I left a message, it was always returned promptly. All of his employees worked very hard 8 hour days in the 100+ degree heat. They were all very polite and professional and the jobsite was cleaned each night. They were very grateful for the water and sodas I gave them each day. Ray kept in constant contact with his workers on the job to answer any questions that came up. Ray visited my jobsite at least three times a week which was impressive because his jobsites are spread over a wide area. I am so pleased with the final outcome of this project and have already recommended and secured an additional three jobs for R&R Landscape. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone wanting to do a project large or small for landscaping, hardscape, and pool refinishing. He is absolutely my first choice for all future exterior projects!!!!! "Rudy showed up on time with his guy's ready to go. He personally instructed his men to do the work. They were all very nice and introduced themselves. His son's were helping him and I like family run businesses. We discussed our needs, and the cost and we were off. No changes to the original quote, no new charges or requirements, and he brought plenty of help. These guys started right away, trimming, hedging, and cleaning. They filled a truck full of yard debris in no time. They cleaned up everywhere, including places I had not emphasized the need. They went above and beyond and were very respectfull of the property. In no time they had knocked out the job. I felt like they treated my house the way they would their own. Very thorough. I Would hire these guys again and again and plan to. <br />"

"We have absolutely no complaints and are thrilled with the outcome.  Ken Bragar responded the same day to our initial phone call (even coming out to our home to meet with us on a Saturday afternoon).  New to the west coast (and SoCal in particular), we relied on and appreciated his expertise in coming up with a plan and list of plants that would work on our property and meet our HOA's requirements.  Ken was willing to make adjustments in design plans and in the positioning of the plantings as the project progressed to ensure we would be happy with the final outcome.  He also traveled far and wide to get the best plants.  His work team was hard-working, careful, professional and competent - often going beyond the call of duty, doing extra work trimming bushes and weeding whenever there was "down" time during the project.  The project was designed and completed within a short time frame and the work was done, as contracted, in 4 days.  The completed project has exceeded our expectations.  We know that come next spring/summer, we will be even more pleased when the plantings produce blooms/flowers.  We especially appreciate that Ken is willing to continue providing services and to help out with any problems/concerns that may arise in the future.  We, therefore, know that the cost for the services that were provided was money well spent. <br />"
