He sent me before and after photos of my home. He followed up afterwards to make sure a couple errors on the job were corrected. He was friendly, kind, and fun to work with. "The actual roof looks lovely and stopped all my previous issues. However, I experienced damage to interior walls due to the long term (3 weeks) storage of all my shingles on one side of my ridge. I was told it would be repaired, but we are five months later with no timeline on that project. The cleanup looked good on the surface, but I found lots of roofing debris and cigarettes in my landscaping. I also stepped on a couple nails which thankfully just took out a pair of sneakers and caused no injuries. Overall, the work done looks great and Im not experiencing issues five months into the install. However, I did not feel like my experience was all it could have been based on the numerous positive reviews I read before hiring Element Roofing. *Be aware my work was done in the summer, during a pandemic. Weather and illness aside, the damage to my walls could have been prevented with better communication and better organization of delivery versus start day of this project, which is the only reason I was frustrated."

"Hamdan Quality Roofing was able to provide a great product at a very good price point. Other companies are potentially 1.5x or 2x the price. They can provide a good price because they are family owned/operated, they own a metal roll forming machine where other may not, and they make their own fittings (z-bar, ridge cap, w-valley channel, end caps, etc). It is very important to understand the differences in what you get with metal roofing products as there are so many variations and they are transparent about the different products. They can quote agricultural panels (exposed fastener panels), shingles, and standing seam (concealed fastener). I went with a 24-gauge metal standing seam (concealed fastener). They were able to put it right overtop of the first layer of shingles (with a synthetic barrier) which some other contractors may or may not quote it that way. They own their own metal roofing roll forming machine (Englert Machinery - model FP1101), they purchased large rolls of metal from CMG metals, and they had a metal bending machine in their trailer to bend their fittings (ridge cap, z-bar, w-valley flashings, drip edge, eave end cap, ect). The panels were made on site which was cool to watch. They installed S-5 Colorgard snow bars. Some hiccups with the permitting but it was approved by the township after the township dropped the ball on a couple things. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a metal standing seam roof."
