"Drew was very courteous and knowledgeable.  He used one type of control inside and applied the substance at every place in the house where I told him I had seen the ants - the kitchen, primarily, the front hall, the TV/office room, an upstairs bedroom.  He was very careful to get the substance into the cracks and crevices and corners and he explained to me very carefully how the substance would not hurt my cats.

He spent a lot of time outside too coating underneath the entryway doors - front and back - and along the sides of the main front entryway, all where they seem to enter the house.

He also checked the basement very thoroughly to determine if there were any signs of the ants.

Overall, Dew does an excellent job.  He is polite, friendly, knowledgeable and  informative and willing to spend the time to do the job."

"It is early in the one year contract and the specific pest treatments covered are largely seasonal. Two visits have been made so far including treatments for cave crickets and ants as well as a general diagnostic of infestations. The ant treatment resulted in seeing none in the house which never happened in previous years when no treatments were made. Same with the cave crickets."

"The inspector was polite and friendly, and offered a lot of helpful advice regarding our new home beyond the standard termite inspection. For example, he showed me entry points throughout the home that I should reseal to keep mice out, and named the product I could use as a sealant and gave me guidance as to how to work with it, but also left me with a card in case I didn't want to deal with it myself. This is the best of both worlds for me, because it allows me to make the choice between saving money or saving myself the trouble. He also discussed the construction and certain new home features, and provided multiple photos taken of the home. it was a pleasure working with him.

"A long ride with them. It was crazy at first. They were suppose to come back every three month. They never came back, until I called Angie's List. Finally found out what happened to the company. Finally, the owner called me back, and he apologized. The technician did not put our contact information in the system, bla bla. Finally sent someone last week to spray in the basement. I hope in the next three months, I do not have to go through this again. I did not like having to call Angie's List nonstop, and no answer from him. We will see what happens. Every time I call, I would get a machine, and couldn't leave a message. I had to another number, and he still did not call. Finally after Angie's List got them to call me, he apologized. I told him a new kitchen needs to be sprayed, so the wood won't go bad. It was over six months, and he never came back. We will see what happens. The past is the past, and we will move on. He already has the money. I am not asking for a refund, but do your job the way you were suppose to do it. They did not follow up, to see what was happening. It took all those phone calls, for him to reach out. I might give a better review later. The owner did contact me, and it is a small business, and you have to have all your information correct. Check everything, make sure it is correct. What is you have six locations, it could be trouble. When they say that they would be here, they did come."

"Mike was extremely professional in his response for an estimate. He was flexible in his ability to meet and look at the job. Gave me fair price and scheduled the job at a day and time that worked for me. The install was done professionally and in the time frame given. Would certainly recommend CleanSpaceUSA for any work you may need done!"

FAQs for bird and bat pest control service projects in Hopatcong, NJ

You're likely to find nesting birds in external areas such as your gutters, eaves, porches, and chimneys. Some birds also nest in less obvious spots, like attics or even in your ventilation systems if they gain access. A reputable pro will conduct an inspection before starting any work to check for evidence of where birds may have set up roosting or nesting sites in your home.

Leaving birds to roost and nest on your home creates significant risks that affect both your home's structure and your well-being. The constant droppings, aggressive swooping, and persistent noise can damage siding, allow moisture intrusion, and stain exterior finishes. In addition, the birds’ pecking and droppings can spread diseases and parasites, which can lead to escalating repair costs and health hazards.

Yes, humane removal is possible and ensures that birds remain unharmed during the extraction process. Experts use proven methods to safely capture and relocate both birds and their nests to secure environments. Professionals employ stainless steel spikes as a deterrent while avoiding harmful techniques such as poisons or glue traps. You can rely on trusted specialists who strictly use safe, noninjurious methods, thereby protecting the birds while resolving the nuisance.

Yes, there are legal considerations when removing birds and their nests. You must adhere to strict local and state regulations, which safeguard protected native species during nesting season. Special authorization is required to remove protected birds, their nests, or eggs under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Observing these legal mandates avoids violations and ensures safe, responsible removal.

To prevent birds from returning after nest removal, you can implement deterrent methods. Installing stainless steel spikes creates a secure barrier that prevents birds from roosting without causing injury. In contrast, loose nets may entangle birds and other wildlife, creating additional hazards. A trusted professional will choose and install the optimal method to keep your home bird-free.

A bird’s nest remains viable for a period that depends on the species. The construction phase concludes within 2 days to 3 weeks, followed by a rearing stage lasting 2 to 10 weeks. Most birds become fully independent within 2 to 6 weeks, while certain predatory species require up to 2 1/2 months. This timeline can guide you on when it's safe to intervene.
