"Mike Turner came to my house for the initial estimate for the job.  I had water leaking into my finished basement through the joint where the concrete wall meets the floor.  It had become so bad that I had a significant pool of water in the middle of my basement.  Mike did a great job explaining why my basement was leaking, and why B-Dry's solution would permanently solve the problem.  He spent about an hour with me going over the details of the job, drawing up a plan, and letting me know what I'd need to do beforehand to prepare the basement for the job.  Not only was I impressed by his professionalism and knowledge, B-Dry's price was less than 2 other estimates I had from other companies. <br /> The crew that came out to perform the job were great.  They were friendly and courteous.  The work is pretty dirty, and they did a good job of minimizing the mess.  The job took 3 days, which was pretty quick given the amount of work involved.  They had to remove the concrete around the perimeter of the basement, install the drain system, and also dig and install a new sump pump. <br /> The system has been in place for 2 weeks now, and we just had a weekend of very heavy rain to the point where there is some flooding in my neighborhood.  My basement has stayed completely dry, where before I'd start to see signs of water a few hours after a rainfall.  I'm very satisfied with the system B-Dry installed and I'm confident that my basement will remain dry. <br />"

A salesman was let go so I had to make several calls before I found his replacement to get the second part of my job completed. They left a pretty big mess at my home as well as denting my water heater. "I'm very glad that I chose Inspector Mike to do the inspection.  He's obviously been doing this for many years and has lots of experience with contracting and inspection.  He also has a science based method of working though the inspection that I really appreciated.   <br /> While his primary focus is discovering and detailing the condition of the house and grounds, as we walked with him he told us what we need to do to fix the issues as that came up.  If there are several ways to handle the issue, he described the pros and cons of each, and weighed in on what he would do in that situation.  He was never preachy, just a very practical, experienced guy giving the best advice he can from his own experiences.   <br /> He repeated this useful process throughout the entire multihour inspection.  (I can't remember how long it took, but I do have a 51 page report with photographs to remind me of all the discoveries.)   <br /> Mike was very down-to-earth and friendly, so the multihour inspection did not feel like a long drawn out process, but more of a friend who knows about these things showing you the quirks and ins and outs of your new home.  He also told us that he would answer questions after the inspection.  We have not had to ask any since we have his report, and we also have a small homeowner's handbook and a separate flyer of notes on correcting some of the most frequently seen issues that he gave us on the day of the inspection. <br />"

"Excellently.  First of all, the initial visit to determine problem and solution was made clear.  The gentleman was not too pushy, but did tout the uniqueness of the Dry system.  I worked as support staff for a waterproofing company for about 6 years, so I was impressed by the thoroughness of the system.  The workmen that came out were very clear on what they would do, step by step, were very explanatory, polite, going over details as much as we needed, and answered all questions to our satisfaction. Daily  they were punctual and worked their tails off!  The foreman and all workers were very cheerful and polite.  They seemed to really enjoy their work, and even explained the benefits of working for the company.  The foreman seemed to have a pretty tight-knit crew.  The clean up afterwards was excellent.  Due to the outside excavation around the foundation, shrubs and plants had to be moved.  They were very meticulous in keeping in good shape what I wanted to keep, and even helped discard overgrown shrubs and cleaning up the branches and stumps.  I truly believe that they went above and beyond, and we had nothing but an excellent experience."
