"The project went smoothly and efficiently. Greg was great with returning phone calls and being adaptable to the work schedule of me and my spouse. It was a daunting project requiring excavation of an old concrete patio, repairing some foundation on the house, laying a newer bigger paved patio with concrete slab on the side, and also a paved stairway with stone steps going up a hill. Everything turned out even better than expected. He is also true to his word about repairs and the warranty of the patio. A few months after the project ended, we had to have a small portion of the patio pulled up for some electric line work. He had his crew come out to level, lay, and tamp the patio stones back into place free of charge. Would highly recommend."

"We are very pleased with L&R on all the projects that we have had completed in our yard. All the projects were well planned, designed and installed with care and respect to our property. They have done multiple landscaping projects that have improved our yard, including regrading, new shrubs, stone path, granite stone steps in the back yard up to a raised bed garden on the most difficult berm. Also installed brick side walk and under ground drains for rain run off, and replaced our deck with a two level deck and stairway. This past spring we called on them to do a yard cleanup and mulch refresh throughout the yard. "Artistic Landscapes Inc. was one of many companies we talked to and received quotes from about installing a boulder retaining wall in our backyard to replace aging railroad ties and decking. The backyard is sloped with very limited access to move materials and equipment, therefore many of the companies we spoke with responded with either limited options for landscape ideas or unaffordable prices. Chris came out, listened to our ideas, gave us some of his and told us exactly what we could expect; he quickly put a bid together and we were elated it fell within our budget. 



He and his crew not only worked around the limited access issues, but challenging weather including rain and wet conditions/clay soils. In addition to an approximate 60 foot long boulder retaining wall, they installed 33 paver stones for a pathway, steps as a feature area, additional large boulders for aesthetic enhancements and graded the area to address critical storm water runoff needs. The placement of each stone/boulder was clearly thought through, resulting in a unique and attractive wall versus many of the standard "one on top of the other" looks.



Toward the end there were a few minor tweaks we requested to which Chris and his crew were more than happy to accommodate until they knew we were completely satisfied. Clean up was fabulous too; our front yard damaged by major equipment during the process (which we knew was necessary) was fully restored as promised!



Chris was good to communicate with and very trustworthy in terms of what he committed to delivering. I would recommend Artistic Landscapes to anyone seeking quality work at a fair price, and by someone who knows what works and what doesn't. We absolutely love our new backyard...thanks Chris and Artistic Landscapes!

"I hired Luke to fill windows wells that we wanted to eliminate. He was thorough in explaining the process to me and was even able to give me a bid using pictures I had sent him (due to COVID-19 we were/are trying to reduce exposure). So many of our home projects that we have tackled with contractors have had some sort of issue (joys of a fixer upper). However, this project went off without a hitch.
