"This review is long overdue on my end but I wanted to provide a positive recommendation for Chase and his company on the demolition and replacement of two older new decks in our backyard and a new ceiling. After experiencing working with several contractors in the past that we're less then impressive I found Chase to be very through and professional and kept his promises on all the work that was done. I'm very detailed and the final outcome more then met our goals for having something built correctly that will last for a long time. Phase two of our project was to replace a tounge and groove knotty pine wood ceiling above an outdoor farmers porch. I was very concerned about how this would turn out since other contractors has told us how difficult the rip and replace would be. Chase found a way to get it done with the least amount of impact to the existing framing. Also, the crew working for Chase was always polite and courteous to all of our questions and he does have an admin that called in the evening at the end of every day to ask us about our experience. "I once joked to a friend in response to his 'since you are so happy with his work, I may hire him too', I told him, 'you don't choose Vinnie, Vinnie chooses you! Vinnie does the work as if it is his own project. Completely focused, attentive to the details. I liked most of this wor ethic. His quote was one of the most competitive. We interviewed about six different builders all with good ratings from friends or Angie's list. People he works with, electrician, plumber, HVAC were all very professional. Timely. Vinnie came up with this kitchen breakfast bar/island concept. He built it without much of an additional charge to the original quote. Gave us the address from where we could buy a quartz top. That breakfast bar became the central piece of the basement. There was a plain big wall on one side of the basement. Vinne came up with a cost-effective way to turn it into a brick-looking wall perfectly matching brick tiles in the kitchen. He put the kitchen brick tiles in one afternoon, without asking extra on top of the quote. Vinnie guided how best to get custom kitchen cabinets suitable for a basement. He installed the cabinets himself. He had put the crown of the cabinet twice to match two pieces of the crown in color, he did not ask for extra. He helped us choose the best option for flooring for humidity and told us where to find the most cost-effective flooring. He only charged us for putting the flooring down. All this gave us confidence that what he is charging us reasonable, he was not charging us extra on top of the material cost to him since we were buying the material ourselves after making sure that the price/quality was suitable for the project."
