"I first called another roofer who never came inside to look at the stains or went up on the roof. That roofer said by visual inspection he could tell I did not need a new roof and his company only dealt with replacements. But, he hazarded a guess at what was wrong and said if anyone actually went up on the roof, it would cost around $800. I then called Farina who scheduled an estimate; they arrived on schedule. The gentleman came inside and took pictures of the stains. I received an estimate about a week later and was asked to agree to it or not by email. I agreed and about another week passed and they showed up at my house to do the work, again going inside first to look at where the stains were. The actual work took less than an hour-so far, so good. Assuming that the leak is fixed, the only thing that could have been better was if I was told beforehand when they would do the work, instead of their just showing up. Luckily, I was home."

"I went with Ken because of all the roofers I spoke to, he was the only one that wanted to address my concern about attic ventilation.  All of the other roofers just wanted to slap shingles up.  Ken, on the other hand, actually looked inside the attic and came up with a plan to get better ventilation in the attic.  With the winters we've been having, I wanted better ventilation to help mitigate any issues with ice dams.  His plan was to open up the soffit along the whole front and back sides of the house and put in a perforated material to allow much more ventilation than the small vents every 8 or so feet that I had.   Ken also had no problem pulling back the siding by the dormer windows and shed dormer because there was no flashing.  I even asked Ken if he could go overkill and use 12' of ice and water barrier from the bottom of the roof.  All of my concerns were addressed and I felt comfortable letting Ken's crew do the work.
I am pleased with the work done.  The roof/skylight was complete in one day, but everything else took a little longer than expected.  I had asked to have the siding by the dormers to be pulled back so that flashing could be put in place.  I had issues with leaking by the dormer windows because there was no flashing.  However, apparently my siding was a non-standard size and had to be special ordered.  This delayed the process for a bit.  Now the work is complete, and I'm happy everything turned out great!

"After 3 decades of every few years replacing various pieces of rotted wood trim on our house with PVC I decided to take the leap and replace all the wood trim that had the potential to rot all at once. LCT Construction had just done an excellent job replacing my roof and I picked them for the trim work. The salesman James who I worked with was more knowledgeable than all the others I've dealt with, was direct when discussing various options and details, and was committed to doing quality work. It's hard to judge these days, but I think their price was very reasonable. At the beginning of the work James came by and we reviewed exactly what was to be done to make sure there were no misunderstandings. The day before work started they dropped off the material they needed for the job along with a dumpster (with wood under the skids to protect the driveway) for the discarded wood. The workers were here every week day with the exception of 1 rainy day even on days in late November when it was very cold until the job was complete. Each day they started around 8:00 am and didn't leave until it got dark, and they cleaned up before they left. All my interaction with everyone on the crew was friendly and relaxed and we were happy to have them around. On the last day they cleaned everything up and removed the dumpster that evening. Every aspect of their work was excellent. I'm no expert, but I've had a lot of trim repaired over the years and this is the best I've seen. I couldn't ask for better workmanship. During the work they discovered some rot that needed to be repaired. They did it for a reasonable charge, and there was never any attempt to up sell or expand the scope of work. The only negative was that they told me the day before the agreed starting date that they needed to slip by 2 weeks. I wish that hadn't occurred but compared to everything else it's not significant. If I ever need trim or roofing work again I'll definitely contact LTC. They were completely professional and easy to work with, did exactly what they said they'd do with no hassle, and I couldn't ask for a better result. I recommend them without reservation for any roof or trim work."

"Many thanks to Matt Cabral and his expert team for a great job this week replacing a fair percentage of the trim on our thirty year old colonial. After the bad storms this winter, I noticed a small corner of trim had actually come off exposing the sheathing underneath. Fearing water damage, I called Connell Roofing who had put a new roof on our home 12 years ago (that looks as good as new), and did more modest trim replacement 6 years ago. Dennis and John were out the next day, reviewed all the trim around the house that had some damage, gave an estimate, and said they could start in only a week. While our house has sturdy cedar board siding, the trim boards are soft pine, and there were multiple areas of sunken wood consistent with rot underneath. The bad pine trim was to be replaced with PVC trim that will last a lifetime. "I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Power Construction was amazing to work with on replacing our roof after we purchased a home badly in need of a new roof. List was fantastic in coordinating, Rudy was exceptional, and Dan was beyond helpful in managing the work and making sure everything met our expectations.
