"Seth responded in a timely manner, proposed several ways of solving the problem, and offered additional suggestions to help with the drainage around the stairwell, which was the source of the original damage. He was willing to look at the project holistically, and knowledgable on all aspects of the job. Many concrete companies will limit their involvement to only the concrete work itself, but most projects are rarely so clear cut. We had a portion of the wall rebuilt with new block, new rebar, and a finish parge coat. Railings were removed and reinstalled. The grade was modified using new fill, new river rock and edging."

"With JLP Unlimited, Jared is the one who dealt with us start to the end. He was very professional when he came to our house to give us a bid. He seemed well experienced to let us know the process and turn around time. We weren't planning on doing ceiling but he convinced us to repaint and I am so glad that he did! The rooms are so much brighter and I was shocked the color difference of before and after!  He was on-time and clean up was spotless and I was very impressed because you hear so many horror stories about that. I loved our finished project!! I love my new trim works in all the rooms and doors. He even helped us picking out a color using a designer! I am very particular and picky so I almost expect problems when I hire contractors. I really didn't find anything when he did a walk through with us when it was completed. I mentioned a small thing and he took care of it right away. Again, I'm very particular but I would recommend Jared to any of my family and friends with no hesitation. "The stamped concrete asphalt and apron for the driveway went fairly smoothly.  One of the blocks cracked (no real fault of the company, sometimes concrete just cracks) and the company fixed it no questions asked.
The original driveway was poorly done in the past, and ODD had to dig up remnants of 2 poorly poured concrete driveways put in by the builder.  It ended up taking an extra 3 tons of gravel to fill the driveway.  The asphalt was put in in October of 2014, but it was too cold to color the asphalt until late May/June of 2015.  The driveway looks great. 
There were a number of complications with this project that ODD handled very well and professionally.   ODD was not the cheapest option available, but the quality and professionalism was high, and the price was OK.  We would recommend them.

"It went great! Another company had cleaned our chimneys for $300, told us that they were not safe to use, and given us an estimate of $7,100: $4,000 for installing flue liners and $3,800 for building a new chimney crown with a $700 multi-repair discount. They did give us a good picture of the chimney crown and an explanation for why it should be replaced. (See Chimney-Before picture provided by this company.) I was suspicious about the cost and went to Angie's List to find a chimney repair company. When I talked with Joe (the owner of Metro Chimney & Masonry) about wanting a second bid, he immediately said that a lot of companies are proposing unnecessary work to install flue liners. I had not said anything about flue liners. I then said there was an estimate for a new chimney crown as well and sent him the picture. He then said that it looks like work is needed, and he sent me an estimate. Based on his Angie's List profile, we knew we wanted Joe's company to do the work. What I have found is that those service providers who have mostly A ratings but a few F ratings are dealing with real customers rather than friends and family posting fake reviews. Anyone doing business is going to run into people who get upset or who think they know how to do the work better than the provider. I told Joe that the few F ratings added to his credibility. What happened after we got the bid? We said we wanted the work done. Joe said he might be able to fit it in this year but more likely in the spring. He said we could use the chimneys in the meantime. It turns out he had an opening in his schedule and was able to do the work in mid-October. It looks very professional. (See Chimney-After picture.) We were very pleased and just wished he also had people who cleaned chimneys!"
