"We returned home from vacation to find cracks in drywall in two rooms. We had used Mudslingers in the past. Chris came over the next day and worked us into his schedule a couple of days later. The drywall was not loose or otherwise damaged. The crew mudded and taped then came back to sand and do final mudding. After it dried and was sanded they matched the texture and paint so well that it is impossible to see the repairs. They were courteous and professional at all times. They carefully moved furniture and put down plastic to protect floors and carpet. They even removed their shoes when entering the house to avoid tracking in snow and dirt. "Mr. Sullivan brought an assistant and they cleaned our Appleton 2-story Victorian home's gutters and repaired a spot damaged by an ice dam in last year's severe winter. "I have worked with contractors in the past but, never had such kind, courteous, punctual, and patient young men as Jovon and Jeremy. They worked with me on the situation I was in. Arrived on time. Just toward the end of the install we discover I had ordered the door to wide I had a 36" and I needed a 32". So then I went online to find the right door. "We are undertaking an extensive exterior renovation of our c.1927 Tudor Revival and badly needed masonry restoration represented Phase I.
This was our first experience with a provider found on Angie's List and we were very pleased. I received a very prompt response to my initial request for an estimate and in comparison to other quotes we obtained, A O Handy was most in line with the extent of restoration we felt necessary as well as within our budget.
The work began within a few days of our having signed the contract and continued daily until completion. I was especially impressed with the crew's punctuality and how respectful they were of the jobsite. They tidied up  the work area everyday before they left.
I was also impressed by how well they were able to match the color of the new mortar to that contained within the existing grout lines. They also cleaned up the unsightly repairs where the previous homeowner had attempted to repoint sections of the brickwork himself years ago.
In summary, if you're looking for quality, old world craftmanship, I would strongly recommend AO Handy. It truly was a pleasure dealing with Andy, his son Arthur and the rest of the crew.

"Contacted Brian along with several other companies related to cracks in the foundation of my basement.  Brian was prompt in responding by phone and in person.  He was also very friendly and engaging in conversations, while also being extremely knowledgeable.  Brian expressed pride in his work and provided a lifetime warranty (which will transfer to the new owner as I am selling the house)  for the cracks his crew filled.  On the day the work was completed, a crew of 3 came within the scheduled time period and set straight to the job at hand.  During the course of the work Brian stopped by to check on the process and to provide direction on how to take care of a large crack in a particularly bad location (above cement sidewalk outside, and directly across from door jamb inside).  The workers took care of all of the cracks efficiently and thoroughly.  The crew leader (name escapes me) even filled in some cracks in the floor with extra filler that he had on hand.  Brian returned near the end of the process to ensure all went well., which it had.  I was thoroughly pleased with the service provided and would hire them again for future issues.
