They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! "My husband and I came across 7th State Builders online. Eddie came out to our home for our initial consultation. He was punctual and professional. He listened to our vision and took the time to draw out a plan and explain the process. He was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. We decided to do a big project at our home. For the back: a rebuild and waterproofing of our previous deck and a large patio to go underneath it with a fire pit and sitting wall. The front of our house needed some repairs so we had them redo our sidewalk in the same patio pavers from the back. The whole area in front of our garage was cut out and they put in new concrete and leveled it out. They rerouted our gutters to prevent flooding as the previous design was doing damage to our foundation. The owner, Chase, was very hands on and kept us updated the whole time. He frequently made sure we were happy with the way things were going. The whole team made this project an enjoyable experience. Iâ ll admit, my husband and I can sometimes be difficult people to please-But wow!! They really knocked it out of the park for us! 7th Stateâ s precision and talent is unmatched. You are truly working with people that know what they are doing and they are the best at what they are doing. Communication from start to finish was consistent and open. They were very patient with our ideas and they added to our vision in ways we didnâ t think was possible. The whole crew was professional and extremely hardworking. "Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"A+Plus Landscaping did a great job on my 1/4 acre lawn in Bowie. They removed several trees, pruned the trees and bushes I wanted to keep, and planted a couple dozen new trees, bushes, and other plants. They also created a new pebble pathway and widened my concrete porch. It was a lot of work, but they got it done very quickly for an affordable price. I'm very happy with the results."

"Hired them in April 2019 to level and reseal patio pavers with polymeric sand. Job looked okay at first, but shortly several voids starting showing in the sand and some pavers started to settle, which is not unusual or unexpected. Sent them pictures at their request and they said they would return and repair the problem areas. I marked the voids and uneven areas with tape to make it easy for them to locate the voids. I also asked that they call to schedule the repair so that I could be there. After over 2 months of inquiries and waiting, someone showed up when we weren't home and did the repairs. Some additional voids have since appeared. If they had come when I was home as requested, I would have simply asked for them to leave a little poly sand so I could fix an additional settling without having to bother them."
