Nick used his endoscope camera to see the extent of the problem. (They had a coupon on their site which offered this one-time, free service.) After a couple hours, they were able to identify the problem, present a few solutions, as well as a final estimate before they left that day. We agreed on the approach and set a date for the following week. Nick and his co-worker were friendly, deeply knowledgeable, and hard-working. They communicated well, taking photos for us throughout the process. They cleaned up everywhere, completed the job in one day, and they kept to their price. Everything worked well from the single visit."

"The guy that came out was nice but really didn’t do a great job of troubleshooting. He said it was a pressure sensor problem and that the whole control board needed to be replaced. He called and gave his shop and they gave me a price of over 350 dollars. I told him no way I’m gonna pay that since it was more than the machine is worth. He then offered that I call the manufacturer to see if they could help which I did. The manufacturer sent their own repair man and that guy just pretty much reset the computer and now my machine works well. I should have just called the manufacturer first. I had to pay the 80 dollar service call to Affordable Appliance for them just to diagnose it. I was charged the 80 at first and the owner Richie contacted me and was very helpful in making my situation right. He refunded me the charge for the service call and offered his business again if I want it in the future. This was a great way to show that he cares about his customers and based by that action, I will recommend him for future jobs."

 I heard nothing by 4 days later so I called the AHS and they knew nothing.  It turns out  that A-1 does not work on "sealed systems" but they did not convey that or anything else to my Home Warranty Company who also dropped the ball.  They next called New England Appliance Repair who came right away and also told me they needed many parts.  Instead of waiting days and days, N.E. Appliance expedited the shipment of the parts and they're return to my home so that within a couple of days the repairman Bill was back here repairing not only my refrigerator but my wall oven as well which was way off temperature.  I will tell AHS in the future that I only want to use N.E.A.!"
