"The task included a leaky pipe, a kitchen faucet that wouldn't dispense hot water and a garbage disposer that wouldn't work. The service person tried several approaches to see if he could restore service to the disposer before pronouncing it dead. He replaced the disposer at a very fair and reasonable price. He fixed the leak in the water supply and then spent considerable time troubleshooting and finding the blockage in the water line to the faucet. Restoring functionality in the faucet saved $150 or more. He also supplied helpful advice on how to avoid problems in the future to minimized problems. He also unplugged a drain in a half bath and tried to fix a toilet, but advised replacing it as a better alternative. It is functional now, but its continued use is ill advised. He was very helpful, polite and focused on providing good service which was appreciated. I will call them again. <br />"

"Received written estimate in less than a week after in-home visit. At the agreed on start date, workers showed up exactly when promised. All three were professional, personable and efficient. They treated my home as if it were their own. As soon as an area was finished they vacuumed and left it as they found it. They never left screws, wires, plastic, etc lying around. The same care was taken on the outside of the house. They made sure that everything they installed was neat, straight and fastened down properly. "We have a service plan with Gibson's for our heat and air conditioning unit. We pay a small monthly fee ($16) and they come out to do a cleaning and routine maintenance on the heat at the start of the heating season and AC at the beginning of summer. The service contract also entitles us to a discount on parts. In the 3 years we've had the service plan we have had to call for emergency service once. Their response time was fast. If you leave a message, they call you back within an hour or less. They had a technician at the house with 2 hours of my call and were able to have the heat up and running within less than half an hour of showing up. <br /> Over the years we have had several different technicians do the cleanings and maintenance. The office calls to schedule the appointment. They call again the day of the appointment to let you know the technician is on the way. In addition to their uniforms, the technicians put on covers over their shoes when they get inside to avoid tracking dirt into the house. All have been very professional and polite. They have answered every possible stupid question we have about our HVAC without making us feel stupid. Although we mainly use Gibson's for HVAC, they have repaired a water heater, and do electric work as well. They have been a source of background information too since they installed the unit before we owed this home. <br /> I would recommend Gibson's based on my experience. I believe they have fair pricing, like their service plan for yearly maintenance, and if needed, would call them for repairs in other areas of my home. <br />"
