"We were so fortunate to find North Alabama Builders! Brent, Patrick & Misty were awesome they kept us informed every step of the way. We felt comfortable with Brent & Misty on day one when they came to look at the job we wanted done (which was not a easy task). Brent was extremely cautious since the job was vaulting our ceiling he brought a Engineer out 3 times to make sure it could be done properly before he accepted the job. Of course, it was not the greatest thing living thru a remodel but Brent and Patrick kept the job site clean each day! They were very respectful our home and once the job was complete they did a complete cleanup. We couldn't be happier with the way our project looks! Thank you North Alabama Builders!"

"<p>Overall, this was a very good experience.</p> <p>We needed to have some plumbing work done in our master bathroom, so decided to have the countertop replaced at the same time.  This led to having them all done so they would be consistent throughout the house.</p> <p>We stopped at their location locally, and were met by Ashley.  She was very professional and helpful.  It was difficult to pick out a color from a small sample but she helped us make our choice.  They were cooperative in working with us to have the work done in two steps because we needed to have two countertop installed, but the third removed,  plumbing work done, then have them come back to install that countertop.  They charged us $150 for the second step, but we understood the costs involved to them so we paid it.</p> <p>They sent us a picture of the slab and it looked too pink to me.  So I went back to their location and got confirmation it was ok.  Ashley was patient and supportive.  </p> <p>Mike, the lead installer, and his helper were very efficient and timely.  If they were running late, Mike would call us.  On the second installation, he called twice to let us know what was happening.  This is so rare with installers!  He provided great service.</p> <p>There were only two items we wish were different: </p> <p>(1)  There was a 1/4 inch gap between the right side of one counter and the wall.  This was the only bathroom where the countertop had to fit between two walls.  The gap occurred because the wall was not square.   The gentleman who did the measurement must have known this when he was here, but we did not realize there was this issue until the countertop was in.   It was explained that it is in our contract that gaps are possible, but we did not figure the gap would be that large.  I think we should have been told that there was a potential issue and work with us on a potential solution.  If a solution was not possible, then at least we would know.  This is the only reason the Quality rated a B.  The material itself is great and the other two bathrooms are beautiful.</p> <p>(2)  We specifically asked for afternoon appointments, and it seemed that all we were offered were mornings.  </p> <p>Except for the one gap, the countertops look great!  We have a solution we are working on to make the gap less obvious.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"This is an upgraded review after an initial 2-star grading. Responsive customer service to issues with the purchase itself made all the difference and allowed me to keep an open mind as I continued into the installation process. Overall, other than a few "they could do this better" items, the quality, the accuracy, the value, the helpful support team, and the easy installation of my 7 motorized solar shades all point to 5 stars. We followed the measuring instructions carefully and received shades that fit each space exactly as I expected. Installation itself was easier than traditional shades using the solid brackets they provided. Questions I had during installation were answered promptly through Chat. The remote control was a bit of a challenge, so be patient if you bought a multi-channel one and have lots of shades in your room. And for some reason they don't tell you this, but you must have a remote for your motorized shades. The app alone isn't enough. Our only minor gripe is that determining how solar shades look at night was just a game of inference. It would be very helpful to have an online tool available to create your own scene, which includes shade color, indoor or outdoor, and time of day. Even samples don't help much more. Still, I'll return to them when it's time to take care of other rooms. We did this project for 2 to 3 thousand dollars less than big box store quoted us. It was a cinch."

"It went very well. I contacted this artist to create a stunning and lifelike self portrait. I then sent photos and payment. In less than a week I had a stunning rendition of myself in both pencil and watercolor. Lance is always courteous and professional. I highly recommend his services to everyone and will do business with him again soon!"

"<strong>General</strong> <br /> We were extremely pleased with the process and the end result. Tip was very helpful in selecting materials and general design ideas. The sub contractors he used were very respectful of our family, always showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. When there were problems, we were easily able to work them out with Tip. <br /> <strong>Master bath</strong> <br /> We did a major redo of our master bath. We replaced the cabinets with new marble counter tops, got new sinks and faucets, replaced the ceramic tile floor with porcelain, changed from a garden tub to a free standing, updated the toliet, changed from a fiberglass shower to a large tiled shower with a glass door, enlarged the door opening, moved a wall, moved plumbing and electrical, added new light fixtures and vents, removed the popcorn ceiling, added crown molding and painted walls/ceiling/trim. <br /> <strong>Master bedroom</strong> <br /> The master bedroom wasn't as big of a change. We just replaced the carpet with hard wood, removed the popcorn ceiling and painted walls/ceiling/trim. <br /> <strong>Powder bath<br /> </strong>The powder bath got a face lift with a new tile floor and tile accent wall. We also updated the light fixtures, faucets and the toliet. We also added an upper cabinet for additional storage. They also painted the walls/trim. <br />"

"I was overwhelmed with the mess in my house. We have a large and active family so it is near impossible to keep it organized.  A friend suggested Danielle. I needed someone to work on my whole house, yard and garage.  Danielle arrived in a bright, optimistic mood ready work.  So what did she do? <br /> <br /> -Before she started she sat and talked with me to get an idea how we use our home <br /> -She then toured it asking me and my family about what she saw and what we would like to have done <br /> -She then made a plan and discussed it with me. It turned out that we need to have some things built in order to have a place for all of our things <br /> -She met with our handyman and planned with him <br /> -While doing this, she cleaned and organized my closets-never wasting any time <br /> -I have some mobility issues but she worked around that so that I could participate <br /> -She made us laugh through out whole process, and in the end we had a beautifully organized house, a dumpster full of stuff we don't need, and lots of laughs. And a strong sense of pride after seeing what we had accomplished. <br /> <br />  I highly recommend Danielle!  I have worked with organizers before, but never with someone who not only organizes, but who also can design. I have never worked with someone who gets how my family and I use our house.  Past organizers were more concern with how it looked at the end than how it would function.  Not Danielle. Everything function well when she was done."
