There are a lot of companies to choose from, but after reading many reviews on Angies list from various companies as well as checking their web sites I was struck by all the positive the customer service comments for Hepa Vac. The web site makes it clear what the program involves as well as the expected cost so there are no surprises. Reed was available in just a couple days so I had him come out. He has a camera to put down into the ducts so you can see exactly how dirty they are. Everything went great1 he also did the dryer vent and offered to clean the A/C unit. Thanks Reed!"

"We hadn't had our dryer vent cleaned in awhile so we checked Angie's list and called the Vent Guys. Talked to Dan and set up an appointment. He gave us a two hour window when he would arrive on the day of the appointment. Dan showed up half way into the window so was right on time. He proceeded to inspect the dryer and then cleaned the vent which produced more lint than we had anticipated. Dan gave us some tips on cleaning the lint filter and suggestions regarding dryer sheets. We asked about cleaning the furnace air ducts so he checked the furnace and gave us a quote. He looked at the furnace filter and gave some advice as to what type of filter to use in the future. Dan was punctual, knowledgeable, professional and did an all around good job. We would definitely use him again for any needed duct cleaning."

"The work went very well. The installation is beautiful. The zoning control works as anticipated keeping the system in stage 1 heating whenever possible. The expanded cold air duct and new basement cold air duct have solved thermal distribution and noise problems for us. The new humidifier with outdoor temperature sensing control remains to be proven this winter. Wireless thermostats were required at the last minute when it became clear running new thermostat wires with more conductors would be nearly impossible. All in all, a great experience. They are filing all warranties and rebates for us."

"Cory and his team of professionals are an honest and committed company. We were in a tight situation as we were selling our house and part of the agreement was to have mold remediated as the buyer's inspector had believed there was mold. Cory came over soon after we contacted and let us know that there wasn't mold, and would write a letter on our behalf explaining so (which would have given him no business). In the end, we went with his air cleaning services as we contracted with the buyers that we would - and Cory came in at HALF the cost of a competitors bid. In addition, at last minute, we found out that the attic was to be inspected. We had one day to have it inspected and Cory came out that same day and was able to write an additional letter regarding our attic in the nick of time. "They were responsive. Called before coming. Arrived on time. Andrew was very clear in terms of what he suggested be done and was not at all pushy. I had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and was starting chemotherapy. I wanted to make sure the air ducts were clean and sanitary to decrease my exposure to molds, dust, allergans, viruses and bacteria when my white blood cell counts would be decreased and my risk for infection would be high. Andrew suggested I have the ducts disinfected as well as cleaned which I did, as well as cleaning my furnace. He and Matt completed the work in a timely manner in the 2 hour window they had specified and left my home neat and tidy. The service wasn't cheap but it left me feeling reassured and when I saw some of the things that came out of the vents (a large number of brittle old poker chips that had probably been in there since the 1950's! Obviously fed in there by some ingenious little children.) it was obvious the vents had not been thoroughly cleaned for a long time!!"

"Bryan and Andrew arrived on time, and they were professional, courteous, and up front about what they were going to do and what it would cost. They cleaned 14 furnace air ducts and added the dryer vent cleaning at no charge. They were careful not to track dirt through the house and used a cleaning process that created no noticeable dust or dirt in the house. The dryer vent had been cleaned by a contractor hired by our townhome association earlier this month. Even though their outside picture of the duct indicated it was pretty clean, Bryan suspected that only a partial stretch of the duct had been cleaned. Because it was no charge to us, they went ahead and cleaned out the entire duct and blew out a pile of "stuff." Based on my conversation when I made the cleaning appointment, I expected to pay $374 today if the dryer vent needed cleaning. This was already over $100 off of their normal price for furnace duct cleaning alone. So the $324 that we ended up paying was even a better deal. Bryan and Andrew were great guys to work with, and I do not know how this whole deal could have gone any better. We have been Air Mechanical customers for years, and this experience only solidifies that relationship."
