"The group did an excellent job. From the moment we hired them to the end, everyone worked diligently and efficiently. All of our questions were answered. Hopefully I don’t need them again, but if I do, I’d be calling ESX "

"CCE was amazing!! My grandmother is 85 years old and had zero idea about asbestos and what it can cause health wise. Justin and Zack explained there process and was extremely assuring. Overall they finished the project one day earlier then discussed with great quality. I highly recommend this company."

"Upon moving into a new home we were unfortunately surprised by a broken kitchen line that needed to be replaced underneath the concrete in our basement. However, since it was a home built in the 1960s it had linoleum sheet flooring. The plumbers needed testing before doing work and we needed some sheeting removed. Brian was very informative with the process, and patient with all of my questions and concerns. Best of all, he was very active in helping us secure a waiver from the 10 day waiting period which allowed the work to be done sooner. Brian and his crew were professional, timely, and did a great job with install so that it isolated the abatement from the rest of the house. They were also thorough in clean up of their work area. Additionally, he helped keep the project on track and was able to complete within the quoted time estimate. I’m very happy to recommend Reliance Environmental Services for Asbestos abatement projects. Dealing with Asbestos removal in a home is never a fun experience for the homeowner, but Reliance helps get you back the living space in your home with peace of mind."

"It went great! They came on a Saturday morning, right on <br /> time and had the work done in an hour. <br /> The duct was joined to a vent in the floor, they made sure <br /> the vent was sealed from both sides before pulling the asbestos out, and they <br /> were able to salvage the vent grate so we didn?t have a big hole in the floor. <br /> I will absolutely use this company again if we find any more <br /> asbestos. <br />"

"The company was very professional. Asbestos Professional showed up on schedule and under budget. During my kitchen and bathroom remodel, the schedule had to be changed several times due to our schedule. Asbestos was able to accommodate the changing schedule. The clean-up was perfection. We passed air quality tests in fly colors. Personnel communicated every step of the way. I would definitely use them again."

"The options that I had for dealing with my problem were discussed at length so that my situation was well understood. My need for urgency was clear and I was given a referral directly to a testing laboratory. I immediately took samples to the lab and they were able to give me a negative (no asbestos) on my house. <p></p> <p>I was very relieved when Rocky Mountain Mitigation was so thorough in discussing the situation with me and then actually referring me to another group that could give me fastest result. I would call these people again readily! It was apparent that they were truly trying to serve me as best they could. It was obvious they were entirely honest and professional.</p>"

"Scott, Jose, Manuel, and Reggie are an amazing team. Sonja and Russ were incredibly patient. In my five year effort of trying to find a home without mold, I found a diamond in the rough with New Season. This amazing team stuck may not be the biggest or most well known, but they have stood by me through seven separate stages of work. They were ALWAYS responsive, polite, knowledgeable and fair. In a universe that doesn't fully understand mold or mold abatement, this team stands apart. If they do not know something, they admit it. If you need highly specialized service, they provide it. Hands down, I will continue to refer friends to New Season and feel grateful for all they have done to make my home environment safe.Your favorite customer!tls"

"We are doing some major remodeling to our home and wanted to remove several walls.  We had testing done and found that most of the drywall compound and some textured paint had asbestos.  Jim from American Abatement came out and gave us an estimate.  He was very knowledgable and helped us understand the regulations we needed to comply with.  We marked out many areas, some full walls but some very small access holes for plumbing and electrical.  I fully expected them to miss a few of those, but the crew did everything exactly right.  They were done a half day sooner than we expected and the hosue was immaculate when they left. <br />"

FAQs for asbestos abatement projects in Idaho Springs, CO

Asbestos is a group of six naturally occurring mineral fibers once commonly used in building materials because of their resistance to heat, electricity, and corrosion. However, in 1975, research confirmed that these fibers cause mesothelioma and other cancers, leading to strict usage laws. If your home contains asbestos, removing it can prevent long-term health effects. You'll often find asbestos in the flooring, ceilings, pipes, and roofing of homes built before the 1990s. Common asbestos-containing materials include vermiculite insulation, vinyl flooring, millboard, and corrugated roofing. If you suspect you have asbestos or any of these materials in your home, it's important to hire a reputable abatement company to perform testing.

Currently, there is no federal licensing mandate for asbestos removal contractors. However, certain cities and states require certification and specialized training. For example, in some areas, contractors handling asbestos must receive an Asbestos Handler Certification. Be sure to check your local laws to ensure any contractor you hire meets the necessary requirements.

Homes constructed before the 1990s can conceal asbestos within building materials, and testing provides a definitive answer. You should have your home tested by a certified asbestos inspection service. This professional evaluation identifies hazardous materials and determines whether removal or encapsulation is necessary. Testing safeguards your family’s health and supports smart budgeting for remediation.

Federal law does not require you to disclose the presence of asbestos when selling your home. However, certain states and local jurisdictions impose disclosure regulations that you must follow. Testing and professional remediation confirm that hazardous materials are properly managed. This proactive approach not only meets legal requirements but also protects your property’s value and buyer health.

Asbestos removal affects a home’s resale value because hazardous materials can deter potential buyers. Having toxic substances present lowers buyer confidence and may reduce the property’s value by 1% to 15% if not addressed. Professional remediation ensures safety standards are met and preserves marketability, protecting your long-term investment.

Grants exist at both federal and state levels to support asbestos testing and removal projects. Local housing programs may also offer financial assistance when asbestos is discovered during home repairs. Meeting certification and testing standards is required to secure these funds, which help to manage overall project costs while ensuring safe remediation.
