"As a general contractor and custom home builder I would most certainly recommend A-Built construction. A-Built is always on top of things. From the office to the field they can handle the full scope. The crew is easy to work with, works well with inspectors and they pay attention to detail. I strongly recommend this company."

"It went perfectly. I called and spoke to the office immediately. They came out the next day on a Sunday prepared to give an estimate and complete the job. Everything is done. They performed quality work with quality products, very professional, clean-cut, honest, efficient, fair price. We are very happy and highly recommend them."

"I love my Crimsafe products. I covered my entire house. The product is impressive. It is very heavy duty and I feel very safe. The product is very finished and looks clean. The installation took 2 days. It is a premium product but, worth every penny. We all rest better at night knowing that no one can break into our home. Plus it is a hurricane protection as well. So, our windows are protected during storms too. The service was great."

"Justin was very attentive to us and to detail until he received the first check and signed contract, after that I had to refuse to pay for him to come by the job site. We were given an estimated total for the work of $34,000 at the completion of the job we had paid over $43,000.  Although the two JDI employees were usually available to answer questions or do work his sub-contractors were a problem. The cabinetry is well built and beautiful, but was installed before the room was ready for it causing complications for painting and especially flooring. There is still a hole under the cabinets where ants come in because the cabinets were installed over the open trench in the slab floor to run electrical to the island. We had detailed plans for wiring that were either ignored or never given to the electricians because several items of importance to us were not done. The Granite Composite countertops are very nice but the joint in the middle of the sink is obvious and looks bad. The flooring is a nightmare, the company has been out six times to correct problems but the seams still look bad and it bubbles up around the edges. We did the painting ourselves but we were given the job to do at 4:00 pm with ceiling texture and drywall seams still wet and were told that cabinet bases would be installed the next morning at 9:00am and the half of the room that was ready for paint needed at least two coats of primer and finish paint ready by then. (Just a note it was -7degrees at the time)  Justin has to this date refused to give me a detailed cost lit so I would know how much I paid whom for what. The only things I know the cost of were items I bought myself, or purchased through JDI at exorbitant extra cost. <br />"

"<p>My water heater rusted out and they came right away. The insurance company had another company do the tear out and drying out. As soon as everything was dried out Bronson came in and installed the water heater so I'd have hot water. They built a platform for my washer and dryer, reinstalled my water softener, washer and dryer, laid the flooring in the kitchen and replace all the appliances. They saved me enough money that I was able to have them tear out the living room carpet and have them put the laminate flooring there also. They were considerate and understanding at all times.</p> <p>I would highly recommend them and have to my friends as they have done work for me before.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Idaho City, ID

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
