"I had a small roof leak. I got a few estimates, Excaliber was the lowest although they had a disclaimer that the bill could be higher if they found wood rot. They did find a small amount and there was a small extra charge but I think it was fair. I would definitely use them again after some bad past experiences with roofers, it's nice to find an honest and professional company."

"The first guy came over and took pictures on an ipad and gave an estimate. I have tile on the first portion of the roof and then the rest is a graded flat roof. He entered the roof from the front meaning he walked on the tiles. After the repairs we completed, we had another big storm and the roof leaked where the tiles were. I later learned you are not supposed to walk on tile. I think he may have disturbed something causing the new leak. He was professional and explained all of the costs, showed me photos. The actual repair person came while I was at work and did the repairs. He sent pictures of all of the completed work. The leak that I called for repair was repaired and never leaked again. He cleaned up the roof as well. I was happy with this. I tried contacting them again but never received a reply. Overall, they got the job done but I believe more care should be taken on a tile roof. I think they should be more responsive to emails because I would have used them again. They were responsive to the initial scheduling and consultation but after that, I could not get a reply."

"Hometown Restoration came by to do a flooring replacement. They removed the carpet and cleaned the stairs, and put in new luxury vinyl in an upstairs bedroom, hallway and stairs. Even though we had an early miscommunication about which brand of material, they went out of their way to get it fixed and make sure the right material was installed per my liking."

"I hired Foothill Painting after getting quotes from 2 other companies for my reflective roof coating project.? I do not have insulation for my East L.A. home, and despite having a forced air conditioning system, I could never get the thermostat below 85 degrees on hot days.? Foothill just finished the roof coating, and the inside temperature now is at least 10 degrees cooler.? The staff is super helpful, friendly and no pressure, I was assisted by the owner Don, his daughter Raquel and A.J. was my tech.? Best home improvement project I ever did."

"I had Ocean Seven Builders replace a roof on my primary residence along with a rental property of mine. They knocked out the work at my house in one day and were done by 1pm on the rental property. They were prompt and showed up first thing in the morning and did a lot of prep work to make sure there wasn't any debris falling on my deck table or in my air conditioner. They contacted me once during the day to confirm the color of two vents. I stopped by at lunch and they answered all questions, etc. When I came home in the evening from work they were leaving and they did not leave any trash, nails, etc at all. The roof looks great after the work was completed. I would hire them again."

"As a real estate broker, I am always searching for service providers that are honest, responsive and fair, and I find that in the roofing category that search can be a challenge. On the morning of November 11th, I needed to quickly find a roof inspector for a buying client because we were up against a deadline and previous calls to other roofers had gone unanswered. Out of the 5 companies I called, RNR was the only company that actually answered the phone. Not only did Greg Miller answer, but he spent enough time on the phone with me to listen to my client's current situation and explain what his company specializes in. He then offered a name and number of an affiliate that he trusts and works with that he felt was more suited to my client's needs. His level of customer service and care was impressive, and I will definitely use him in the future!"
