"Peter and his crew overlaid the asphalt in a parking lot at the new location of the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls & Toys at 830 Kipling. Peter and his crew did an amazing job. The parking lot was in very bad shape. But they removed damaged asphalt, milled it down, filled holes, dealt with Kipling traffic and overlaid the asphalt; blending it into the sidewalks and adjacent patio. They completed this efficiently and carefully. Stop by and take a look. I highly recommend 5280 SealCoating for all your paving needs!"

"This asphalt paving company resurfaced my asphalt driveway, widened it some, added a turnaround space, and evened out the curb-end of the of the driveway. The company representative, Mr. Johnny Harrison was pleasant, informative, and totally professional. He showed up on the appointed date (May 12, 2026) on time and ready to work. His crew finished in a couple of hours and did a nice, neat job. We are pleased with Mr. Harrison and his crew and their work, and will recommend him and his company to our friends for asphalt paving. "

"Mike was awesome to work with. He does what he says he will do and has great integrity and is also very nice. He came out again to address some issues I had with the initial asphalt application and fixed everything to my satisfaction. I am very pleased with his company and the work that was done. Highly recommend!!!"

Customers say: Terrific value

"Highly recommend holding back 10% until work is complete. They were almost done with my job.when the owner came up asked if he could be paid. He needed to get to it another appointment. Once I paid him his employees packed up so fast and left without finishing rolling out the asphalt properly. If I wouldn t of been here during the majority of the job I think they would have cut more corners. had to ask them to bring more road base, also had to ask him to dig out a corner to the proper depth where they were putting asphalt. Texted my salesman Pete another owner. He said he would be out to take a look at it. it s been three weeks and he hasn t replied to any of my Texs or messages. As of three weeks i can see spots were asphalt is popping up due to the fact they did not roll the asphalt properly. The company has all the correct equipment but I think they get too busy for themselves. And they re in a hurry to get to the next job. They have a good sales pitch. Family owned for three generations, the one thing I would love to see what their father would say. He would not be very happy. I would not recommend this company buyer beware. the only reason I gave them the any stars is because your employees were hard workers."

"I decided not to do this project based on recommendation from company who originally paved my driveway. They said my driveway still looked good and did not need seal coat or overlay."

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Indian Hills, CO

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
