"I called Mike after we discovered a leak in a window was not taken care of by installation of a new window. The project was open-ended and required investigation of the source of the leak which wouldn't be determined until the siding was removed. Mike was thorough in his investigation of the problem and up front about pricing being a bit of an unknown and gave me a minimum bid which we agreed to readily. Once the siding was removed the source of the problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed. Mike gave us documentation for the window company and advice on how to proceed. He will return to address further outdoor water damage once the rest of the windows have been replaced. "Received several quotes for a new roof on my mother's house and Apek was almost 50% less than the others and the materials and quality of the work was perfect. Old roof's shingles on back of house were designed to bend 90 degrees to provide complete weather protection and this was stated by site supervisor, Jesus, before installation. The new shingles did not bend but a solution was recommended but declined due to financial reasons. The roof started a small leak after the big wind/rain storm in August but only as long as the storm continued, so it decided to wait and see if it would leak again after next big storm. During last weeks storm it did leak a little in the same place and we called Apek. All of my concerns were addressed quickly and Jesus contacted me within 12 hours of being given my information. He had taken notes, pictures and done evaluations at the initial installation and knew exactly where the problem most likely occurred even before arriving. Jesus remembered that money was the deciding factor in why my mother did not get the metal flashing installed and graciously and unexpectedly offered to preform the installation free of charge. My impression of Apek is all positive and will recommend them to anybody in need of the services they provide."
