"<hr /> <hr />      It went very well and am extremely pleased with our new driveway. After talking to a number of driveway paving companies, I chose Trimaldi. There are a lot of paving companies out there and you never know if they'll do a good job. <br />      I talked to many companies. When talking to each company, I asked their opinion about what needed to be done with the driveway. One of the first things that  Pat Trimaldi said was that he would repair the damaged areas by cutting them out. Also, cut out the existing area near the garages so there would be a smooth transition into the garages.  Other companies wanted to only build on top of the old areas and not do any prep work first. The same damage would just show up later. I was impressed that Pat explained exactly what he thought needed to be done to our old deteriorating driveway. <br />        Trimaldi wasn't the least or most expensive, but they know what they are doing and take pride in their work. Other companies didn't listen to what I wanted in parking areas and a turnaround. Also, some companies only wanted to put down 1" of asphalt instead of 2", so of course it was less expensive. So, make sure you ask questions! <br />       They told me it would take 2 full days for the new driveway. They came promptly the first day to do the repair work and put down the stone base for the new areas. It had rained that night and they told me they wanted to wait a few days for the stone base to settle and drain after the rain. Originally I asked other companies about if it happened to rain during the process and they just said they would work through it. You want a good base for your driveway with the stone asphalt to settle, so the new asphalt doesn't sink.  <br /> <blockquote> <br /> </blockquote>     Overall I'm very pleased with the driveway and would hire them again! <br />"

"I contacted 6 different companies for quotes and review. I found Shane Armstrong, the owner was very upfront and very knowledgeable. He offered and reviewed different options with me. His two sons work on the crew and his one son Brandon is the Manager of the crew. There were a total of 5 guys working the job. They all were very respectful and professional. Brandon did a great job of multi tasking and and utilizing the entire crew to get the job done. We ran into an issue but Brandon came up with a option that would make it work. It cost more for the fix however, it was worth it. These guys work hard and just kept plugging away. Shane told me it would be a 4-5 day job. They finished in 4 days. Brandon gave me his card and told me to contact him if there were any issues. I am satisfied and feel I made the right choice by choosing Armstrong Waterproofing. "See review 2015 for part one of story. I found I stilled worried about water in the basement crawl space even though there was a big improvement with the 2015 fixes. So I called Tim again and talked about options. Since the full size part of the basement didn't seem to have any water problems we left that alone and concentrated on the crawl space. His crew punched holes along the bottom of the walls to let water flow out. They draped the holes to direct the water flow into a pipe that took the water to the sump pump. They sprayed the walls to kill any mold that had formed and draped them with a material that made them look better. They also covered the pipe with concrete. The crew was wonderful, Brandon in particular. They worked hard in very uncomfortable circumstances (hard pebbly floor surface, 3 ft height, and huge spiders). At the same time, they sprayed foam into the space between the rafters along the outside of the wall (no more huge spiders) to insulate. To prevent future problems they reinforced my back basement wall to prevent the horizontal crack at the freeze line from becoming bigger. I am thrilled with the results. Besides the bonus of being spider free, I have no water in my crawl space, ever. I can hear the sump pump working nonstop during heavy rains and big snow melts. I didn't know I had bought in a high water table area and that basement water was a common problem in the area. You sure can't tell by my basement any more."

The owner (Mike) was very helpful with suggestions for how to layout the job and options like microfiber and steel mesh to increase the strength and durability of the concrete. Their quoted price was very reasonable for the quality Celtic Patios provides. Preparation for the pour is the most important part of the job.The excavation and gravel base was done extremely well. The pour went well and the concrete was finished perfectly. We couldn't have been more pleased with the project."
