"This is a second time I hired Lazaro because he did a superb job on pavement. This time, a bit hesitating to call him because it's landscaping work rather than hardscaping. However they did a great job removing weeds, adding top soil and planting sod and bushes with mulch on front yard. On side yard, they removed weeds, added top soil and planted seeds. I like his prompt response, reliability and commitment. They have a solid work habit. Strongly recommend."

"This work took place eleven months ago, but that gives us the ability to say that everything Kurt’s team planted looks great and is growing nicely, except one bush that is struggling, which Kurt agreed to replace without hesitation. Distinct Landscapes installed a paver walkway, and a complete set of bushes, flowers and a crape myrtle tree. "Brian and his crew were absolutely incredible. We just moved into a home in Takoma Park, MD and our front and back yard were in need of some major work. The backyard was a complete jungle. It was extremely overgrown with weeds, brush, poison ivy, and dead/unattractive trees. Brian's crew manually dug out everything and removed all of the dead trees as well as their roots. They also cut back a ton of bamboo and then laid mulch down in the entire yard. Brian and his crew were able to start within days after getting the final quote. Brian is an extremely reasonable, knowledgable, and caring person. In addition to his landscaping knowledge, he is also a "master gardener." We had no clue about what to do next, so he offered to draw out some sketches of designs (free of charge) as well as ideas for plants and flowers that would be suitable for our particular yard. For this job, exactly like past jobs, Donald expertly maneuvered the stump grinding machine into a tight spot in the backyard, ensuring not to damage a chain link fence that the tree was growing through. His crew removed large limbs that were growing over the house, all while dropping large pieces of the tree exactly where they intended. The entire process was perfect as always.
In addition to the two trees, Donald and crew pruned and trimmed small trees and brush from a fence line. They removed all of the over grown branches from around power lines with ease. I can't say enough about how great Edward's Lawn and Tree.
