He gave our house a total facelift and listened to all of our concerns as well as gave advice for how to make things look better, without overcharging us. It was a fair price for work well done, the crew was courteous and hardworking, and they cleaned up after themselves. Because that project was successful I hired them again to complete masonry work in the front, replace lower cemented steps, paint the entire base around the house and add railings to the steps. "Gary Blindt and his excellent team just finished replacing all our gutters and downspouts today. We are delighted with every aspect of their work and recommend High Tech Roofing most highly. - We chose higher capacity 6" aluminum gutters to better cope with heavy downpours. The finished job looks absolutely great. Also, the new fasteners and brackets can not be seen -- unlike our previous gutters. Every segment was installed perfectly. Sections connecting the second floor gutter to the lower one in front were fitted properly, unlike the original job we inherited when we bought the house. - Gary and his men took special care with a couple of tricky features of our split level house -- for example, they fashioned a watertight S-curved leader to get around difficult features of our exterior sump pump pipe. Also, each new downspout is directed into the existing underground drainage pipes with a snug fit -- as though they had always been that way. - Our property was left spotless and clean, in what seemed like no time. Every single man was hard-working and friendly. - Finally, I can not say enough about how pleasant and professional Gary Blindt is. The job was done just as he said it would be done and looks even better than I ever imagined. Plus, he was very kind in several ways -- even booking our job in a way that was especially helpful for us, though his schedule is absolutely packed. When it the time comes to replace the siding on our house, he will be the man we'll call."

Most importantly, Sam, Anthony and project manager Adryan were on site every day coordinating the work and reachable within a moment's notice. In a very short three and a half weeks in August, the Universal team completed the complex plan.  New Pennsylvania fieldstone masonry work at the base of the home was installed first, including a new retaining wall.  A brand new timber tech rear deck was built.  Twelve new windows were installed.  All new James Hardie siding was installed and a substantial nine by twelve foot front portico completely transformed the front of the home.  Large scale reno is inexorably daunting, but the Universal team was communicative throughout the process. "The installation process went as planned. After the insulation, I expected a follow up to see how things went. After all, that's what happened after they did my window installation. No follow up took place. I gave it a few weeks to see if they would call or come by to see. After waiting I placed a call to address my concerns. The roof installation went fine, but they left debris on the brand new windows they installed along with splashing some black substance on my siding. I guess they expected the rain to wash it all away. They also left large piece of wood in my drive way and nails in my driveway and around my house. I was assured that someone would call me back since the members of the team handling my account was in a meeting. It is now been a week and no call back. That must be a heck of a meeting."

Hiring contractor is always a headache and I always nervous about it, but Jim Rhubart Roofing (namely Munz Roofing) did such a great job repairing my wooden siding! And best part whole process completely stress free. They didn't charge a penny in advance, they called scheduled appointment and told me I didn't even have to be home for the whole project. This was great because I was away for weekend. They brought materials, then came to install them next day. When I got back everything was done and better than new. Then they sent me bill next day and i was happy to pay it. It was extremely fair price too (I got several contracts who wanted 3x more for the same job).
