"We are so happy with our new kitchen!  My husband and I had put off our new kitchen renovation for years after hearing the horror stories of kitchen remodeling.  We found Homecraft Remodeling Inc. reviewed on Angie's List and saw all positive reviews for this company.  After contacting and Homecraft and meeting with Norman, we were ready to move ahead with our new kitchen plans.  Norman was very patient and listened to all our needs and concerns.  His crew were all very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with as well as being neat and considerate about keeping our home clean throughout the project.  We would recommend Homecraft to anyone who is looking for a reliable contractor for kitchen or bath remodeling and would not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

"Jose and his crew did an outstanding job on our extensive interior and exterior renovation, which included a new addition. The project covered everything from a new structural roof with shingles and skylights to new construction windows and doors, siding, a Trex deck, and fully renovated kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. They also refinished a bedroom and installed beautiful hardwood floors. As with any large project, a few unexpected challenges came up, but Jose handled them with professionalism and kept everything moving forward smoothly. His craftsmanship is excellent, and he’s not only easy to work with but also patient and highly skilled at problem-solving. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Jose again for future projects and highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and a reliable contractor."

"We chose JBL, early last October, after getting estimates from five contractors ,and we couldn't be more pleased. Dave (owner), said they wouldn't be able to start until the new year. However, he was able to free up his crew at the end of October to install new flooring in our master bedroom, a few days before we were getting a new bedroom set. The biggest surprise came the first week of November, when Dave told us he could start the master bathroom remodel on December 6th. Once they started that, everything went well. Dave gave us some good suggestions but he was also always open to do anything that we wanted. The best advice he gave us, was to buy good quality bathroom plumbing fixtures for the bathroom, which we did. While it did cost us much more than we intended on spending, it was a smart thing to do, as the quality of the products in the big box stores can't match what we bought. After finishing the bathroom, they started work on a room we wanted in the basement. Again, Dave gave us suggestions, for flooring and lighting, and the room came out great. They also did a nice job in replacing our single front door light with two new lights that we had purchased. After that, we had to wait a few weeks for the egress window to be done, due to supply shipping issues. By the end of February, all was done. One thing that we were extremely happy about, was that Dave came to the house just about every day to see how things were progressing. His crew was also a pleasure to work with. They were on time every morning. They are all very nice, very skilled, and answered any questions we had during the entire process. The outside companies he uses for plumbing, sheetrock and shower glass are all top notch. Electrical work was done by, Mike, one of his own crew, who also does a lot of the carpentry, along with two other men. They left the house clean at the end of the day. What we also liked, is that the only money Dave asked for up front, was the deposit for hiring him and for the egress window, as he had to pay for that to place the order. Other than that, money was only paid after work was already done. Pricewise, JBL was middle of the road when compared to the other estimates we got, so we know we weren't overpaying. We would definitely use JBL again and highly recommend them."

"Greg & his team did a wonderful job on my renovation project, with exceptional marks for honesty and communication. Pricing was fair, and there was always confidence in the work itself: it's clear that Greg brought a tremendous amount of experience to the project, and he consistently ensured that work was done correctly (down to every last detail). I could not ask for a more reliable and honest person to deal with! Additionally, the scope of work changed on our project due to additional requests we had (our decision to re-do walls, install new lights, etc.) yet there was never any worry or concern on unfair pricing. Greg gets five-stars, and we will definitely work together again in the future."

This is the 2nd major project I contracted Art DeRosa & Co for.  The 1st being 4 years ago a major living room/family room renovation which was hugely successful.  That 1st experience led me to award Art (after several other competitive quotes) this 2nd and far larger & more complex project.

Overall it went well but this was a complicated project encompassing all the typical trades and expertise of building a new luxury house but far more complicated because it was a renovation performed while we were living in the home. Dust partition walls with wood framing had to be erected in several locations in the house which included temporary doors for entering and egress in certain areas of the remaining living areas of the house in order to protect the remaining house from dust and demolition , as well as, provide privacy for us during construction.

Experience, Experience, Experience and Professionalism, Professionalism, Professionalism are the hallmarks of Art DeRosa and company.  He is a seasoned performer and pretty much seen it all.  Art has such a vast amount of home construction experience in both hi-end and medium end homes that he can draw upon a wealth of knowledge in all construction disciplines to implement a fine finished result.  As a former tool and die maker his penchant for hi-precision finish work yields highest quality appearances to things like moldings; trim; windows; doors; floors; etc. etc.

This complex renovation project lasted 7 months which was within the initial time estimate given at the beginning and Art DeRosa and team were here every single day, day in and day out,  bright and early during that time frame. He did not start any other projects and stayed on the job day-in and day-out even when other sub-contractors such as plumbers and electricians were on the job site excluding his people from doing any other work. Art DeRosa and team were here every single day until final signoff.

I would not hesitate to recommend Art DeRosa & Co for any planned New House and/or House Renovation of any kind.

"I highly recommend Loja Renovations & Fine Carpentry LLC! Manuel and Fabian were professional, courteous, and did an outstanding job. They helped me with several projects in my home, including mounting two TVs, installing a shoe rack, hanging a very heavy mirror, putting up window shades, and installing several shelves. Everything was done carefully and professionally, and they were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. What I especially appreciated was how prompt and reliable they were. They came all the way from Corona, Queens, and arrived ready to get everything done. Their attention to detail and quality of work really stood out. They offer a wide range of renovation and carpentry services, and based on my experience, I would absolutely hire them again for future projects. It’s not always easy to find people who are dependable, skilled, courteous, and take pride in their work, so I’m very glad I found Manuel and Fabian."

"Walter from Jag construction has done a few projects for us as well as some commercial work at our building to mention a few. We started with our commercial property in Smithtown. He came in and went right to work and the timeline was fantastic. We called him to our home to finish our basement thereafter. I was so impressed I also had him reconfigure our first floor laundry room as well. This year he’s doing a few more projects here! It’s not everyday you find a professional that treats your home like his own and his recommendations are always well planned and precise which to me is greatly appreciated. I can’t say enough good things about this contractor and would have him do any project beyond my scope at either our home or business alike. A++++ Frank and Mary O’Donnell Speonk, NY"

"We were extremely happy with the work performed by H&M. Moises, Hector and crew were courteous and did whatever needed to please us. They did most of the renovation in our condo......painting, installation of bathroom cabinets, sink, installed tile floor, etc. They also installed vinyl flooring in our kitchen, living and dining rooms. They had a plumber replace our heating baseboard, I would highly recommend H&M if you want excellent work done!!"

"Very friendly and accommodating, would use VP in the future for home renovations."

"We've never had luck with major home modifications—this was smooth sailing the entire way. Our project was a teardown and complete re-side, and Cocos did a fantastic job. We have a tricky home with a lot of angles that make no sense—Cocos did a brilliant job strategizing how everything should be executed, and the 50-year-old home looks brand new. Danielle, Keith and Matt not only executed at the highest level, they stayed in communication literally every day to make sure there were no surprises and that we were happy with the progress. If you're looking for a home siding partner, don't hesitate to hire Cocos. They were top notch and we are very happy/"
