"I contacted Jordan at Advanced Concrete and he came out to give me an estimate in August 2012. Things didn't work out for me to proceed that fall, so I contacted him in June and we set up a time in mid-July. A day or two beforehand, he came out to the house and we discussed my plan and made a few modifications to finalize the project. I was very pleased with his suggestions and we were able to come up with the best possible plan for "my" project. There was nothing "cookie-cutter" about my project. Since my original plan to do the excavating ourselves didn't pan-out, Jordan didn't hesitate to fill-in and do the excavating and I was very pleased with the job he operating the bobcat that was needed for the task. On pour day, his wife came and helped with the finishing touches. Throughout the project he asked for my input, so that I was a satisfied customer in the end. I plan to use Jordan/Advanced Concrete again this summer for another concrete project. I was very pleased with the project, Jordan's professionalism and his ability to meet my specific needs."

The crew was there 20 minutes before expected on the day of the job. The crew was friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. A little bit of the asphalt splattered on the house siding but was not more than to be expected as the sidewalk butted up to the wall. We will have them come back next spring and replace our driveway. <br />"

"Jeff from 1-800-asphalt replied promptly. He first notified us not to be alarmed to see a man surveying our driveway. He then submitted a 4 option plan based on what could be done 3-4 days later. His bid was the most detailed and comprehensive. My husband and I did not meet his staff and asked if he or one of his staff could come out and walk the driveway with us to explain the bid. He was very accommodating and came up himself. He was very friendly, professional, courteous and informative. We were very impressed and ultimately chose him after reviewing the bids. ( Note: 3 other companies never returned our call). Jeff kept us informed every step of the way. Our driveway was repaved 1 week later on the first sunny day. They did a beautiful job! I would highly recommend them and use their services again."

"Front concrete patio; Rear patio/driveway; walkway of individual concrete steps.  Included removal of substandard soils and bringing in gravel base.  | |The quality and finish are high.  No damage to adjacent walls and windows even in close proximity.  Very responsive when we pointed out adjustments to make in positioning of concrete steps. Were aware of city permitting for ROW encroachment and followed that procedure avoiding trouble.  Gave advice on care to make the concrete longlasting.  We are extremely happy with end result."

"They came right away to do the quote but we had trouble getting the written quote either due to email problems or whatever. I kept calling them and they were not good about returning my calls or responding to my emails. Once I told them we had chosen them they emailed right back a confirmation but that was about all I heard so I called and emailed a couple of times to see when we would be scheduled. Got not response until I called again to see where we were. I did all the calls to ask when we would be scheduled etc. but they were very nice and helpful once we communicated. I would have felt a little more confident in my choice if they had communicated a little more. After several weeks they said they would be here next week and I did call to confirm the day a couple of days before. They did not call that morning or the day before to remind us,but they showed up early that morning and got it done in two days. Once they were there to do the work they were very professional and the workers were really great. They do get the job done!"

"We were originally quoted a lower price, but it was raised because the owner realized it was a holiday (President's Day), and he said he was going to have to pay his worker more.  Not sure I believe it, but I couldn't wait any longer.  The fellow showed up more or less on time.  We had borrow water from the building next door for the saw, which is water-cooled and lubricated, and the water in the hose froze while we were trying to get it working.  Eventually we got the water working, and the sawing began.  He made quick work of it, but it made a mess!  He didn't try to cover the walls to prevent the mess from getting on our walls, which I thought would have been a good idea.  The wall ended up needing new paint.  And near the end of his cut  he hit a water pipe, so we had to turn off the water frantically and have a plumber repair that.  Overall, quite an adventure, but they did what they said they would do, just not quite as cleanly and smoothly as I was hoping. <br />"
