I recently advised him that we no longer need his services starting September 1st. His response was â I rather move on leaving us with no service for a month. After 4 years of having him service our pool, I expected to be treated fairly and with a bit more respect."

"I contracted with Ancient City to build a screen porch addition and replace my existing shingle roof with metal. I wanted a stick-built structure cut into the existing roof as opposed to just adding a box on the back. The finished result was just what I wanted. Everyone who worked on the house was very professional and courteous. Everything was permitted as required and passed inspections first time every time. They subbed out the roof as I expected but I wanted to have the same general contractor on both parts of the job since the porch roof would be integrated into the existing roof. Roofing crew also did a great job. I would definitely hire Ancient City again."

Their service delivery was most professional, and they were very courteous of my property and flexible when it came time for me to let the dogs out. "They gave a good quote and said they were able to do the work in a timely manner. Project started fine and we’re done with main part in two days. However, they didn’t set up the automation system correctly and there was a leak. They fixed the leak. After a third time of saying the automation didn’t work I finally fixed the automation system. They did send an electrician out to install the lights on the automation. Still have to come back to fix the spa which wasn’t on the original work but still isn’t working correctly. Overall good but not great and somewhat slow but reliable. They were much better than first company I hired who never showed up in two months."

I’ve had lawn pro after lawn pro come out and all tell me the same thing, “whoever installed your sod didn’t do a good job, the sod is of very poor quality”. I spent over $10k for my landscape job with this company and wanted to have the best lawn in the neighborhood. Instead I have constant problems and have spend lots of $$$ trying to fix THEIR MISTAKES. Stay away from C&L Landscaping."

"I have dealt with Poolside Designs for over 2 years now. They are not a great company. Last year they replaced our pool lights and within 7 months those lights stopped working. Poolside Designs visited and determined the lights were indeed blown and would have to be replaced. There was some confusion as to whether this would be a warranty fix or not. I told their representative, Derek Dixon, we would be content getting a quote to fix the lights. He agreed & said he would have a quote that week. This was on 9/30. A month later he said he would have the quote the following week. When I asked on 12/1 if he had a price, he said he would get back to me on Monday. Since that time he has refused to reply to my emails and has not returned my calls. 12/1 -"Sorry. I called him again Monday. I asked him to work out a cash deal on the lights. I will have a number for you in the morning. " 12/13 - Hey Derek -Any updates on the lights/pricing? Thank You. He has never replied since."
