"I was so fortunate to have found Romero's Landscaping to install our beautiful front and side yard landscaping on our corner lot. We started with uneven dirt and old ivy and finished nice green grass Romero's and his crew have maintained very well for us for two years now. I’m sure the neighbors appreciate the dramatic yard makeover as much as we do. Romero's Landscaping is a local operation and they are terrific people with great ideas and are a joy to work with. I would highly recommend them for design, install, and maintenance to those who are particular and want outstanding service. Best Regards, Dimas"

"I would like to recommend DeSalvo Tree Service of Greensboro - Jay DeSalvo 336-264-4924. After taking numerous recommendations and trying to set up estimates from other tree service companies I chose Jay. Jay came out the same day and gave a very competitive quote. He said he could start tomorrow. The following day when I got home my yard had tree limbs piled in neat piles. The following day all debri was gone and the job had been completed. I noticed same work I wanted improved and he returned the next day and completed going over my concerns. Competive, timely, honest, communicates well and you would never know he was here by the cleanliness. Thoroughly satisfied."

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Jamestown, NC

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
