"I have been searching for a contractor who can clean up and respray with polyurethane my 30 year old cherry kitchen cabinets. I was given one lead and that business never responded to my email or voice mail. C P Woodcrafters looked like a possibility (though not a sure bet given their list of services) so I decided to contact them. <br /> I sent email to their info address and quickly got a reply from Charlie saying that they did not provide the service I needed. He went on to recommend the very place I had tried unsuccessfully to contact. I replied to Charlie, thanking him for his response and mentioned that I had no luck reaching that business. <br /> Much to my surprise the conversation did not end there. Charlie responded saying he would speak to the other businessperson when they next met. Sure enough, the morning after they met Charlie emailed me to say that this other person was too busy to help me but recommended another place to try. <br /> So while I cannot speak to the quality of work done by CP Woodcrafters or their pricing, the owner, Charlie Colon, is an exceptional person in my view. He is very responsive and professional and went well out of his way to help me, someone who will not be his customer in the near future if ever (I wish I could be his customer but I may never need his services). "George helped me with finishing a 203(k) after my first contractor abandoned the project. George had to do a bunch of different projects to finish off the rehab. for those familiar with 203(k) getting the cash can be difficult. we also ran into problems with the historic district causing George to have to do extra work to find a suitable window. Aside from the windows, George built a new bathroom after I had gutted the old. As well he had to do installation of fixtures in two other bathrooms and some plumbing repair of the main water and drain lines. As well there were some other small projects that needed completion. George was great the whole way through."
