"Woke up this morning to my hvac leaking and contacted Markool. I have never used them before and was in a pinch. They fit me right in this morning and were out at my house within 2 hours. The tech stepped in the door and placed covers for his shoes so he did not track in any dirt which was impressive! The tech was very professional and super friendly. Problem was diagnosed and FIXED within an hour. The price was extremely reasonable to the point I was shocked in a good way (expecting a higher price). Josh thoroughly examined the interior and exterior of the home and determined that the leak might be plumbing related. Josh could have very easily exploited our ignorance and suggested a solution purely beneficial to his company that may not have addressed the underlying cause of the problem. Instead, he demonstrated his integrity by realistically assessing the situation even if it would jeopardize the sale. This is commendable particularly in this era where cutthroat business practices are commonplace. I highly recommend Basement Gurus. They are fortunate to have an employee like Josh who exhibits concern for the customer at such a high level. "

"If you’re considering 58 Foundations, do yourself a favor and stop right now. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company to anyone. Their complete disregard for accountability is infuriating. At first, things appeared to go smoothly, but the illusion of competence quickly disintegrated when it came time for the building inspection. The city inspector requires a letter from the project engineer verifying that the work is safe, sound, and compliant with code. 58 Foundations flat-out refuses to provide this basic validation of their work. Why won’t they stand behind their project? Are they hiding shoddy, substandard work? As a homeowner, I’m now saddled with the mess of an open permit and no resolution in sight. This is unacceptable. If a company won’t back their work with a simple letter, what does that say about their integrity—or lack thereof? Didn't expect this kind of run around from a well established professional firm, save yourself the headache."

"The contractor sent to my house was NOT a licensed electrician. I was told a free quote was 39.99, that turned to 59.99 when I got the estimate and it was waaaaaay over priced and then wanted me to pay a fee to get a warranty for their work! I would have expected a warranty on his work should have been given to me! I needed the job done right away, he was pleasant and courteous but never again with this company."
