"Repairs went extremely well. A-1 Pump's had all repair parts that were needed on-hand with them. This was the second time I have used A-1 Pump & Supply Company. The crew is very knowledgeable and professional. They also keep a record of parts used and existing equipment on site, keeping themselves informed of on site equipment which helps expedite future repairs."

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"Scott was excellent to work with. He communicated effectively to my home warranty company and was able to complete all of our repairs in a timely manner. He has a great puppy rescue story and is a true animal lover-- he completed our projects with 3 austalian shepperd puppies crawling all over him! I would definitely recommend Scott and will keep his number for future plumbing issues!"

"The contractor was polite and very shy. He asked before he did anything and performed the maintenance in a timely fashion. The main gripe that I had was he left a mess. The shavings, and parts were all left there. I was disappointed, they are a small company, I thought they would do a better job cleaning up after. Overall the repair has been successful. <br />"

"Arrived on time. Very knowledgeable, polite and considerate service personnel. They didn't mind taking off their shoes to go down to the basement and did not let the storm door slam shut once during their entering and exiting of my home. Gladly answered all my question. I was happy with their service and would feel comfortable using them again for any well or pump matters. It was an unexpected expense and I was informed that I could call the office once I received my bill to talk about paying in payments. I did call the office and they were very understanding and allowed me to pay in two payments. I was very thankful for this. <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Jefferson City, MO

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
