"Vince told me outdoor spigot could be repaired and did not need to be replaced which saved me money. He also replaced a vanity faucet which I provided. He was quick, efficient and honest. The most important thing was he discovered a serious problem with the way my water heater was vented. The exhaust pipe had been cut wrong and glued together. It was ready to come apart and could have vented carbon monoxide into the basement. (We do have CO detectors but this is still scary) We had this water heater installed a couple of years ago by another well known local firm that I don't know if I can name here. It did fail inspection by Howard County 3 times after initial install. Failure was all related to the vent and probably should have never passed. Anyway, by pure luck it was discovered and fixed. "My Remedy Plumber arrived on time and didn’t really charge me for his service because he stated what he needed to do may not fix my problem because I needed a new faucet which he did not have. Water was running from both the tub’s faucet and the shower head. After pulling off the faucet and making a minor adjustment to a washer within the faucet the problem was "temporary" fixed, the washer was damaged. He stated that a new faucet was needed and that I could call back to have that installed. I thanked him, gave him a small thank you gift, and he was on his way. "Our water heater stopped working suddenly on Easter Sunday in the morning. My husband called Roto-Rooter. A repairman came to our house about an hour later. He said that he needed to get another man to help him. The two repairmen returned to our house about 2 hours later. They drained the water from our old water heater into the sump pump, removed the old water heater, and they installed a new water heater. It took about 3 3/4hours. They said that the labor charge would be $285 an hour. We had a hot water heater installed 15 years ago by another company. It took them 2 1/2 hours and they charged $112.50 an hour.
