"It went very well.  Despite the fact that I live in Tennessee and this company is in Boston, they helped me a great deal.  I can't remember what I actually paid them, but it seemed reasonable for what I got:  unlimited access to the decorator's assistance.   I had already chosen some of the elements needed for my bathroom remodel, but got bogged down over colors/curtains/light fixtures at the end.  I just needed some help in tying everything together.
Their decorator (Amanda Zettel) and I worked mainly through Pinterest;  I made a board of my bathroom, using pictures of what I'd chosen already, and she sent me links to items that she thought I would like in categories that I needed.  We also talked over the phone several times, and emailed, too.  I believe Homemade Design will also help you with vendors and purchasing, though I didn't use that service.  Amanda did send me to some new websites, and I chose my bathroom lights from one of them.  Amanda helped me choose the finish, the shades, and the placement of the fixtures, which I love.  They are unique and charming - thanks, Amanda!
She also sent me several names of paint colors to chose from for the bath.  Because of the variations in computer screen colors, some people might not be comfortable with this, but I wanted to be the one who actually picked the color.  I just felt a little overwhelmed at the huge selection, so Amanda was able to narrow my choices to a range that I could live with.  The color has been up on my wall for over a month now, and I'm very happy with it.
All in all, this was a very good experience, and I will definitely use Jeff and Amanda's help again!"

"Please use my daughter's name, Michelle, instead of mine, but what I can say is this: We couldn't have asked for a more talented company to do the work that a previously hired contractor left undone and also incorrect in terms of meeting codes for plumbing. Redcorn Construction re-did the plumbing in a remodeled bathroom, corrected a window that was installed with an inch of air flowing through the side of it, replaced a shower that was constructed to block part of the window, and all of it done on time, with excellent communication throughout the project.
