After interviewing 5 different companies we knew they were the one that was going to assist us in the largest financial decision we had to make. We had never remodeled the exterior of our home, or any others and the task seemed overwhelming. Chuck was extremely knowledgeable in the process and took the time to listen to our concerns. His professional approach on “what is reasonable and customary” when starting a project of this scale made us both feel at ease. He provided many different options for repair, replacement and kept it all within our stated budget. Choosing the paint colors was the only thing he said was, a personal preference and mentioned that Sherwin Williams is the best choice for exterior paint, and they have any colors that meet your expectations. Project took 2 weeks and came in on budget. Their crew was employed by MAC and not sub-contractors. They were on time, cleaned up at the end of each day and very respectful of our property. On Time. "Mag Selva Gutter & Roofing did a great job of repairing the hardie planks and trim surround our chimney. We asked all of the companies for their recommendation of "how to" improve and prevent future damages. Mag Selva Gutter & Roofing was the only one of the five (5) companies that suggested additional proactive steps to help prevent future damage from occurring without major repairs/cost. Mag Selva's estimate of the repair cost was fair and comparable/less than a couple of the other estimates. Mag Selva answered all of our questions and provided us with photos of the work in the different phases of the job as we requested since we were unable to see some of the area due to the height and/or angle of the work area. Another impressive item was how the paint matched to the existing house color. Unless we point out the area of the repair, no one would know that work had been done. "This was a great service experience. Jon came out to provide an estimate within 3 days of my initial contact. He thoroughly reviewed our needs and suggested that we install white gutters with terratone covers to match our roof - he was the only person to suggest this to us and it looks really nice. Once we decided to go with Gutter Creations, they arrived to do our job a week later. A small crew worked diligently and as quietly as possible, considering that old gutters had to be torn off and completely replaced. The job site was left clean, apart from a few stray screws (so sweep your driveway after they're gone!) After a couple of days, Jon called to be certain that we were 100% happy, and we are."

"From start to finish the majority of the interaction with power home remodeling was pleasant. William our salesperson was amazing and he taught us a lot about windows and insulation. We waited over 6 months for our front door but our windows were installed on time and we are pleased with them. We had a few hiccups along the way and communication could be improved upon but overall it wasn’t a bad experience. They did do everything within their power to rectify the fact that we had to wait so long for our door. FYI if you are getting windows replaced go with power home, the install went well and the installers cleaned up after themselves. If you are getting doors replaced and you need them right away you may need to shop around to see what the wait time is because you will have to wait awhile. However I will say that the door is of good quality and the installers that installed the door did a great job"

"I highly recommend GA General Carpentry. We live in NC but needed the exterior trim painted on a home we own in Flowery Branch, GA. Jose responded quickly with a reasonable and professional estimate statement in writing with pictures. He even asked upfront about HOA requirements. He was also accessible by phone and text. The team did the work quickly and provided pictures afterwards which the HOA accepted right away. I can't say enough about how stress free this process was. We will use this company again."

"They did a wonderful job, they kept their timeline and the work was great! They were able to power wash and paint the exterior as well as replace our roof in a short window before we had a tenant move in. They even alerted us to things that needed to be repaired so we knew they wanted to be sure things were done right. We were out of town so they sent pictures and videos of the work being done to keep us in the loop. We will absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone we know."

Disappointed. We have used DIxon previously and have recommended them to other family members to use.  This was our last time using Dixon.  Too much hassle and aggravation didn't make it worth the price difference.

There is no quality control or walk through of any supervisor prior to them showing up to collect a check.  A crew (non English speaking) shows up, can't communicate, rework is necessary because wrong deck color was purchased, walls were not painted correct color, areas in closet and bathroom were not painted at all and ALOT of oversplash of white paint on the red brick exterior, driveway, etc.  Crew initially was not respectful of the house (trash, drink containers, bathroom usage) or other workers in the house.

I feel they only corrected items at my fathers house because we had also contracted with them to do our exterior paint refresh as well.  Same issues and this time an argument from the Quality Manager about all the white paint on our red brick exterior.  He stated that it was the previous painters and essentially called me a liar.  Only the trim, eves, doors, window surrounds, etc. were to be painted.  Repairs were done shoddy and we requested they redo with the materials that were quoted, screens were not put back on the correct windows, windows are painted shut, shrubs were broken and damaged, etc.

This used to be a great company and service provider.  They've painted two other houses and a barn of ours over the last 15 years all were great, but something is really lacking in their service approach at this point.  Again, disappointing.

"On top of being excellent at their work (I hired them for house painting and repairing and installing new fences), Erick and his crew are clean, courteous and professional. I am picky and I inspected their work as they went along and they addressed each concern I had. They didnâ t try to upsell me on services or supplies and whenever a spot was missed, they immediately corrected it. In fact, another contractor splashed over their paint job and he cleaned it for no extra charge. I highly recommend Erick and will use his company again. With a 100 yo house, I will undoubtably need his services again."
