The plumber used a snake to clear the drain, and confirmed that the sink and garbage disposer worked. After he left, I needed to clean the sink, and used a stainless steel spray cleaner. The spray nozzle broke, and a small plastic piece fell down the garbage disposal. I called to make an new appointment, and made it clear that the repair had been fine, and the follow-up was not the plumber's fault; it was something I had done. The customer service representative said that they would probably waive the trip fee (a minimum charge for sending a plumber out, which is normally waived if the plumber does a paid service). The appointment was set up first thing the next morning, and it turned out to be simple; the plumber could see the plastic piece and pull it out, and the disposal did not need any repair. I asked about payment, and the plumber confirmed that there would be no fee."

They finally showed and gave me the typical hard sell "if you sign the contract today..." They gave us a quote so far over market value we should have walked away. But we agreed because of the "70 year history in the industry" We thought we were buying a service from a company with integrity. They took an immediate $18K deposit on a $55K project. I know, shame on me for agreeing to such an amount. We knew we were over spending, but... One month later, they simply cancelled the contract without explanation and without any work on the project. This contract was binding on us but, in their words, was not binding on them because "there's a clause in the fine print that allows them to cancel" THEY STILL HAVE OUR MONEY and I STILL NEED A ROOF Stay away from this company. The price was a little higher than other bids, but he presented the most professional ideas, demonstrated experience, and we were very confident with PVI. His crew was great, and they did a beautiful job. It was finished last November just before the weather got cold. We asked him back in the spring to trim up some of the concrete edges when were doing some landscaping and he came back out and finished it off. We are very happy with the work, and would definitely recommend."
