Young from New Life Construction left the best impression by far, from his professionalism, renovation ideas and design, reasonable pricing, etc. I am so glad we decided to go with New Life as Young and his entire team were a delight to work with from start to finish. We received very helpful opinions regarding many aspects of the design and materials without it being overbearing, and it was helpful to see his previous projects through instagram (@newlife_construction) to see what has worked well for similar kitchens in the past. There was clear communication about everything from details of the job to scheduling and everyone was very attentive to our needs throughout. This company handled the demolition, cleanup, cabinets, countertops, overhead lighting, painting, appliance installation (range/oven and dishwasher), sink and faucet installation for us-- pretty much everything in the kitchen except the floors. They bring in separate contractors that are specialists in their respective field (cabinets, countertop, etc) to do each portion of the project so you know you're truly getting the experts at every step of the way. Even after the project was done, Young went above and beyond to wrap up last-minute issues that came up from cabinet parts that were on backorder and to this day is responsive to any issues that may come up in the future. My family and I are so happy with how the kitchen turned out and we would not hesitate to hire Young and his team again for future projects."

"As a first timer in the world of hiring contractors, I was scared. All I'd heard my whole life was how contractors can't be trusted, they always end up charging way more than the initial quote, they always take way longer to finish than expected, and communicating with them is a chore and you'll never be able to contact them again once their work is finished. All of these ideas were completely wrong when it came to Carlos and his crew. They arrived promptly every morning. They were respectful of the house, as far as putting plastic down so the carpets, walls etc. were never damaged during their time here. They cleaned up every night before they left, so we could live comfortably while they were working. They finished on time, on budget and the work was immaculate. Carlos takes pride in his work and you can see it. He's not just throwing it together to get out and get paid. He REALLY CARES. And on the final misconception about contractors, communication. The morning after he left, I had an issue with the toilet flushing. I sent him a quick video of the problem, and he called me right back and told me how to correct the issue. Carlos is the exact opposite of everything I have ever heard about the industry, and I can't give him enough praise. Absolutely 10 out of 10 if you're looking for quality work and a quality person. :)"
